The Goose, The Gander, The Gridlock, & The Gall

Election season is beginning to heat up and it is becoming painfully obvious that the Government/ Media Complex is prepared to do whatever it takes to get their agenda (re)elected. From the destruction of each Republican frontrunner as they stand up and have their voices heard to all the un-American crud emanating from Washington. It will be an interesting and exciting time to watch the politics devolve.

I feel good about whomever gets the Republican nomination, in ability to debate Obama and his media sycophants and in the character of the new resident in the oval office. There really is a stark contrast being drawn and in less than a year our voices will be heard, we can put an end to the subversive/communistic track this country has been careening toward for the last half century or more.

If we do not prevail in the coming elections I believe there will be little hope for this country to regain our past glory of excellence, individually and/or United we will be all but boxed in.

Spend and Tax

The descriptor about the Liberal Way used to be tax and spend and it was so apropos it even became a pronoun. Now our country is on its heels with the European and world economies teetering right beside US. Who will catch them when they fall? Who will catch US when we fall?

PIIGS~ Portugal Ireland Italy Greece and Spain~ And those are the tip of the iceberg. England is not doing so hot, the Middle East is bubbling over and on top of that Russia and China are trying to claim a top spot. It seems foreign policy needs some attention, but can Hillary Clinton Primary Obama? Is that really the question, or the answer? If a debt in Greece of $11 Billion can derail the world economy What about the trillion$ Obama is putting US under?

So after the jobs speech didn't jump start the jobs market now we have an economic plan that will tax the wealthy 1.5 Trillion, and that will save the economy???!!!???

I have rarely gotten any work from a poor person, so if the rich people are brought down by Obamas Tax Scheme I can't see anything good out on the horizon for my job prospects.

Class warfare seems to be Obamas road to victory in 2012 in his own eyes. I guess the only consolation for average Americans may be that everything Obama has touched has turned to sh!t, so far. We won't get fooled again can be a rallying cry, again.

Through the Ceiling

The proof of what the political parties are made of is now evident if we all have the nerve to see things as they really are. Since 2007 the economy has been in a tractionless funk. Spending by the Federal Government has spiraled upward and is now out of control.

Both sides have some culpability in where we are right now. However, since 2007 the Democrat Party has had the advantage and responsibility. All the Republicans had since '07 was the Presidency for 2 years and now 1/2 year of majority in the House of Representatives. So you could say " Look what the Democrats have wrought" and be pretty accurate.

Now we get a taste of the desperation of the taxers and spenders as rumblings of Europes avalanche of debt are being felt here and signs are apparent we are headed for the same fate. Our "leader" now sounds more like he's trying to be our Dad than the "Messiah"some were so beguiled out of their vote for in 2008. 'Time to eat our peas', threats that social security checks won't go out, another summer of recovery, storming out of meetings is no way to lead from behind, either.

Its ironic that Baracks 2 and a half year spending spree has US on the edge of the cliff and now he has the nerve to play brinksmanship with those who can help him out of His jam. I heard a great analogy to the Debt Ceiling Negotiations, that its like Obama and the Dems are bargaining between Obama's position and Pelosi's instead of between a Liberals solution and what the Conservatives want to move US forward again.

The bully pulpit seems to be Barry's crutch right now as the reality that it is his spending that got US to this point might finally get to sink in if Boehner, Cantor and McConnell stick to their principles here. These are not election year politics at all, its the survival of a Nation at stake, and fiscal sanity has to be our cornerstone.

A lot of Americans have had to declare Bankruptcy, lose their homes , scale back their lifestyles and start over since this mess started 4+ years ago. We have learned how to jettison the dead weight and non essential budget busters in our households and businesses. It seems high time that the Federal, State and Local governments learn to do the same. It actually has to start with a budget however.

Sooner or later austerity will set in, and the sooner we get on the right road the sooner we can begin our journey back to prosperity. We are in danger of creating a whole lost generation if we don't start figuring out who knows what they are doing and who is learning on the job and messing everything up and needs to get reacquainted with the real private sector, job creating and productive sector of our once and future great economy.

Blame Game

Yesterday we got to hear from our highest echelon of Government all about how they spent so much and now its time to pay the bill. I just loved Obamas lament that the Republicans are putting off the measures like a kid who won't do their homework until the last minute. Since when is holding the line on what really needs to be done procrastination? Sasha and Malika I am certain are the stars of the Obama household and I am sure if our dear President asked them what to do they would most likely have a solution outside of blaming, smearing and condescending to opposition.

Obama loves the straw man tactic. Its an easy guy to pick apart and as he preaches to his base voters, most likely the only ones who cant remember that Obama and the Democrats have had 2 years of total Government control and have had both the Legislative houses for 4 years. Thats 2 years with majorities that could have accomplished great things if only they could find unity within their own party, which is most difficult when re election is the goal and policy the party line embraces divides and destroys the Nation.

So here we are with our proverbial car in the ditch, pointed at the cliff edge, gas tank on empty, oil light flashing, tires spinning, spewing smoke with our driver hoping everybody else sees our pile of debt through the passenger side mirror which states that objects appear smaller than they really are. That pile of debt is like a semi tractor trailer coming around the bend and anybody with eyes can see it now. But what do the architects of this predicament have in mind? The November 2012 election, thats what. Spinning the facts and hoping everyone forgets history and how we always used to get out of recessions and depressions.

Obama acts as if he has arrived from some distant galaxy and can step in and save the day because he has no culpability and no agenda and no problem with the truth. He is right about one thing though, we do need leadership right now. Like never before we are boxed in and there are really no tools left in the bag of tricks. Maybe that semi will stop and pull US out of the ditch, or maybe it will just knock US off the cliff. Then our country can get a new car and driver, or go back to riding horses or something.

Will It Be Worth IT

The economy is still tanking and all this country can seem to muster is enough attention to peruse sex scandals and who may run against Obama in a year and a half. Right here right now we have energy independence opportunities that will probably drown in the redtape regulations, Iran and the Middle East about to im(ex)plode, an economy that if it ever gets any traction will explode with inflation, Laws rammed through by this President and last congress about to be declared unconstitutional, a housing market that may take years to come back, unemployment ridiculously high, and debt that will crush the next two generations possibility to live a better life.

All this is penance of a sort, I am thinking, paying dues for out of control obsessive compulsive living high above our hog. We have forgotten that God gave US this bounty and He can surely take it away if we seem to exhibit bad stewardship and self indulgence, which this nation, and the world, has surely been guilty of for at least a generation. We can get back in good graces if we remember our Lord and that our lives purpose is to serve Him. This crop of louts can be dealt with at the ballot box and will be soon enough. The lessons we learn?

Hope and change can be desired, and may even be necessary. But in whom the agent and direction are empowered should be thought through with the greatest gravity. Here we are learning the hard way it takes more than just words and grand ideas. Ability has to match reality has to match possibility. Our lesson will be what we can't do this time.

Freudian Slipping

I keep hearing news reporters and even Government officials commenting on the killing of Osama Bin Laden goof up and switch the S with a B and say Obama. I have heard it so many times here it seems almost to have its own sub meaning.

Obama killed Osama, after he slept on it, of course. It was a monumental achievement for a President who appeared to be too afraid to confront the terrorism issue head on. I applaud President Obama for bucking his most hard core of leftist and pacifist supporters and doing the right thing.

Whatever the unintended consequences arise from the killing of Usama Bin Laden (I will use that spelling, even though its much more difficult to do that switch in print, because I am always fascinated by the multiple spellings of all the terrorist names and places) whatever the consequences of this killing will be worth it. We cannot let a man who has the resources and the oft stated desire to do US harm the freedom to act with impunity forever.

I believe its time to re think our aid to Pakistan in light of the fact that this 'Ally' was enabling Bin Laden, living right in the midst of their military industrial complex secure and protected. I am so thankful that Barack didn't worry about what the UN would say and followed all the measures set in place by former President Bush. After all, the very first goal of the War on Terror was to get Usama and bring him to justice.

Reading the accounts of the raid made me feel so much pride in the ability of our military and our intelligence institutions to pull off such a bold and complex mission. Lately it seems like only Israel or Russia had the ability and the will to protect their National interests at any and all lengths. We still are a super power, sometimes our leadership has no choice but to do the right thing. After all the first order of any Government is to preserve and protect its society. If said Government can't or wont do that they really are illegitimate.

So removing the head from th snake is a proper way to insure that snake can no more harm anyone. And people around the world should never forget that Osama Bin Laden was responsible for many Muslim deaths also, he really didn't care about any individual human life, maybe not even his own. His cause has lost a lot of traction in the middle east and jut maybe the peaceful Arabs can come out on top of all this unrest in Syria, and Lebanon, Gaza, Iran Afghanistan etc. They lost their front man but one thing is certain at this point is that the war is not over yet. The capture of his computers should help identify other terrorist suspects and all in all May Day was a good day for peaceful freedom loving people around the world.

I will not rejoice in the calamity that befell one evil man, a man with the means to do good in the world and does so much evil is always a tragedy.

I am not sure if this was the end Osama envisioned for himself, but its what he got, and most likely better than what he deserved.

The Harbinger

"I'm gonna to get some gas and kick your @ss". That's a quote from an old story my daughter loves to have me retell every now and again especially when we see someone who is out of gas hiking to a station with a can in hand.

The story goes something like this... Probably circa 1980 Troy was driving by and saw some homey's pushing their lowrider off the parkway and he hooted out loud, "Ha Ha". One of the frustrated guys shook a fist and shouted back that infamous quote "I'm gonna git some gas and kick yo ass". I told my daughter that may have been one of the first ever rap lines, I have certainly never forgotten it and it brings back good and bad memories of good and bad times.

Fast forward to the year of our Lord 2008. Gas prices spiked as the economy crumbled. It was only the complete ruin of the economy that brought gas prices to the low price we enjoyed at the beginning of Present Oh's rule. Here we are again, now 2011, having lost 2 years to Drill baby Drill, and the price at the pump seems only one more mid east uprising or gulf spill/ hurricane away from 5 or 6 $ a gallon. If that does not crown in glory the achievements of this one term wonder, only the ensuing dip of the subsequent recession will waken the blind following, kool aid drinking, facebook fixated, peace and love and head in the sand, psuedo intellectual, feel good~do nothing, scorched earth in lieu of green earth, dreamers hoping for change getting change and losing hope, up from their 2 year hiatus from reality.

There are enablers out there in the media, citizens of the country answering polling questions, fellow Democrat/Liberal Politicians who put a floor under Present Oh. They take him seriously when he sits there with Oprah or on the View with his legs crossed like he is one of the girls and makes jokes about serious matters. Maybe the birth certificate wasn't the issue, but portraying yourself as transparent and then stonewalling only roils the waters and foments more questions. Why make it seem like those who want to know are some how conspiracy nuts? We wanted to know all along and it has taken 2+ years. We still want to know about college and any other paper trail. What will future historians have to cull from? Autobiographies? Will it all come out some day when its too ;late?

What I always say is watch what the other hand is doing. The concerted effort is in and Oh needs the media to do their part to enable him to accomplish his plan. And never forget there is a plan being fulfilled right now. Tearing the country apart like a swarm of Tornados is the first step. Then, as in the aftermath of the gulf oil spill, its easy to put a moratorium on drilling. Create a crisis then offer the solutions, Govt solutions. Mark Levin said it best, Government is the crisis. But the daily news stories skip over the mid east fiasco and dubious appointments and dead or dying real estate markets and weakening dollar and impending inflation and necessarily skyrocketing energy costs and budgetary inaction/ deficits to bring you birth certificate and campaign sound bites and pardoned turkeys and college basketball picks and trivial pursuits. The media is even trying their darndest to bring US Present Ohs challenger, right now its Donald Trump, Sarah Palin has already been discredited, and who will we end up with? Probably a Moderate Republican aka Obamas personal campaign punching bag.

We are getting set up for the big take down in 2012 and if the country does not wake up the change we see will not be pretty, hope is not yet lost, but as close as you get before you find out what you fear is.

Candidate Obama

The launching of the next Presidential campaign ironically coincides with the revelation that all the demagoguery candidate o spewed about Bush and Cheney shredding the constitution was just political rhetoric nullified when the wOn continued to use the same policies against terrorists/sic makers of disasters, Guantanamo detention policy and against certain dictators in the Middle East. The Nobel peace prize winner is actually escalating conflicts. Where is the war monger outcry always heard when there is a Republican President doing these same things?

Now we see the same hatcheting of the messenger as Paul Ryan tries to wake up the American people as we sleep on the RR tracks with a debt locomotive just around the bend. Obama will try to stay above the fray as he floats ideas like trial balloons, threatens vetoes and separates himself from any position that could blow his political cover. Our President is no leader he is a campaigner, making a difficult decision is way above his pay grade and our country is so much worse off because of his weak, passive-aggressive, lawyerly style of Presiding.

Its is almost comical to think that our countries fate hangs in the balance of the 2012 election and there are nearly 50% Americans bamboozled by this charlatan who will blindly pull the lever and watch our future circle the drain.

But there is a Trump card. And right now seems like he could do the job we need done so much better. Candidate Obama, you're fired!

All I can see through all this is a noose encircling Israel and no word of comfort for an ally will be forthcoming from the top levels of the representation of our Nation.

UNtil Now UNthinkable UNHoly Alliance

I have read some most interesting takes on what is going on in the Middle East now that we have opened up yet another can of worms. History is in the process of writing itself. But its also a re-run.

Under the rule of Pres. Obama the US has confounded allies and emboldened Nations hostile to US benevolence. The Presidents aloof and casual reactions belie the gravity of the matter at hand. At best we may be witnessing the beginning of WW III and at worst there are a few more prophecies in the Bible that will be fulfilled before there is no longer any way to doubt.

Israel has been our most faithful friend in the Middle East and a beacon of freedom in an otherwise harsh totalitarian jungle. The recent breakdown of the old order has me concerned for what little peace they have now. Almost all potential changes seem to be more perilous for our friends. World events appear to be guiding and tracking a most dangerous path. The most anti American players are even getting enriched by the turmoil.

The Orchestration of these incidences and the viral nature make me certain we are witnessing Demonic influence on a global scale. I would hate to think Obama is complicit but I am certain he is unaware and getting played right along with The Nations of the World, the good, the bad and the Ugly. Its a spectacle both fascinating and terrifying all at the same time.

The Liberals in our country have always looked up to the United Nations as more Utopian because they need to believe that secular Humanity can self correct. And what better than the all inclusive UN to represent all the good in the world? If it were possible, ok, but... Human Nature says otherwise. So the Liberals have been Hell -bent on ceding our sovereign power to a corrupt body where hypocrisy sits on the Security Council.

I can only imagine a day when we must overthrow our own Government once again because of corruption and unconstitutional behaviours and then We the People have to fight the UN who intervene for the good of ? what? European socialism? Islamic dictatorship? Chinese Communism? My God, so many precedents are being set and so many of them are for evil ends.

I now know for certain what I have always guessed to be all we can do,

and that is to pray.

Risk Averse

Japan had their big one last week, volcanoes erupting and now another earthquake near Tokyo. So far they are weathering the storm. How much longer can they withstand explosions in their reactors, melt down conditions, and aftershocks both geological and humanitarian?

Here in the US we are having questions of energy and how and where we obtain it. With plenty of our own resources but no willingness to exploit them we put our future in the hands of environmentalists and Middle Eastern despots, and market manipulators. On one hand using up other countries resources before our own makes National Security sense but is so hypocritical it's oxy-moronic. We can do a more responsible job of retrieving oil, natural gas and coal than 3rd world countries can. We can make a nuclear reactor able to withstand the forces of nature better than Iran, Syria, N. Korea or China. Why don't we?

And will they?

Fear is the factor driving all the decisions in the world anymore. We used to want to go to the moon and Mars, but a few mishaps and budgetary concerns have grounded NASA. Nuclear energy could solve a lot of needs but now Japan will be in the back of every new decision on permits and environmental impacts. A blown up oil well halts undersea drilling, heck it halted all drilling contrary to our Chief Executive's feeble lies. If we were so worried about safety would we drive around in any car less than armored or would we ever fly anywhere in any type of aircraft? Would we be willing to step outside our own front door?

Society has become so afraid of its own self we are paralyzed to attempt any thing adventurous or risky when the path is less than certain. I believe it is because western

society has placed a high price on life. As it should. Yet, at the same time moving forward has a price, also. Somewhere out here in the secular West we have lost some faith in our ability to have God direct the way. Some people even rebel from this golden corral by doing crazy stunts and taking up death defying past times.

So the higher we go the farther we have to fall. Meanwhile we tie ourselves up with a zillion cords of red tape from regulations to impact studies and reasons not to try. We are protecting our children at the same time we are impoverishing them with mountains of debt. We are sealing our own fate by trying to create a world where there are no negative outcomes. It will be bland and at the same time suffocating. We will be at the mercy of those who refuse to answer to our higher code, we will diminish and a brave, bold and possibly evil usurper will meet no resistance from US at all.

Our needs are being met by our loving creator, we just need to have faith and believe it. We just need to live.

Here We Go Again

In 2008 America was treated to a spike in oil that preceded the collapse of the economy overall. The political will was there for a moment to get our own oil and leave behind the ridiculous dependence on other countries when we could satisfy our own demands. When the economy tanked the price per barrel worldwide slumped and the price at the pump also went way down. It didn't help a whole lot that gas was affordable again when there was no food or work. We even elected a novice community organizer to the Presidency over that whole fiasco. Ironically, now we are getting close to another election season and Obama's deft handling of Mid East crisis and his desires for wind and solar and benefitting Environmentalists over energy producers has brought US back to 4$ a gallon gasoline,with a fragile economy to boot.

Which way to go?

I have no faith in the American voter or in the media who have a duty to inform and maddeningly only tell one side of the story.

Take Wisconsin for example. The voters chose to try and bring sanity to their budget and debt problems and voted one political party in, a party in favor of reforms. No reporting brings in line what the options are for the future. Only what the union wants now seems to be the angle of the stories on this mess. Only what makes the liberals appear to be reasonable, when in fact their policy direction is really robbing from their children and grandchildren. Where are the stories and the badgering of the Lawmakers who have chosen to run and hide in Illinois so they won't have to face a vote? Where are the stories that would compare those tactics to our President voting present while he was a state legislator?

Just because a deal got made, if it was made in bad faith, like paying unions off for votes, then when that deal is found unsustainable it must be redone, undone. Do these strikers want to sit there with their small fortunes while everything around them crumbles and decays? Mathematics appears to be one subject they don't teach well in Wisconsin. Or logic either.

There's a New Sheriff in Town

The New Barrack is a lot like 'ole Mubarak, but Musharef could be the one in jail. Algeria and Yemen, Bahrain and Tunisia, Lebanon Gaza and even Saudi Arabia are all sweating it out right now. Its a powder keg and it will be interesting to see if the desire for freedom is more powerful than hatred for others who believe and worship just a little bit different.

I know Obama wants to be President of the world, but all this spinning out of His control has to cause a moment of reflection.

The Passing of the Olde World Order

With the Middle East in turmoil and a world economy in doldrums its worth remembering that we were promised change, and now our hope may be left to nostalgia and more revolution.

It seems curious and curioser that the big O keeps siding with the wrong players in most every major domestic and international dust up he encounters. Remember Honduras and how Obama wanted to return that commie to his "Presidency"? Now the health care bill is ruled unconstitutional and O presses on, then there was Arizona's immigration bill and the subsequent lawsuit against a State!

When Iran was in a nearly identical situation as Egypt Obama sat silent for days when his support would have made a positive impact to possibly topple a major sponsor of international terrorism. This time he steps in and destabilizes a regime that while not great with human rights issues is a regime that stands between the radical Islamists and one of the most influential Arab countries in the ME.

What we are seeing now is the old line Middle East which was pretty horrible in itself being shaken up and opportunities are now there for the Islamascists to make gains across the board. How much worse could that get?

Turkey was let go, Lebanon was not supported, Tunisia was practically ignored, Morocco and Yemen are ready to rumble and our community organizer in Chief seems like he doesn't have a plan. At least not a plan for the benefit of real American Foreign Policy.

If any plan is being followed at all its that of agitation and upheaval and destruction of alliances that kept a semblance of peace. I know certain events are completely out of everybody's ability to orchestrate now, and if we are not already across that line we will soon know we have. So if the big money players like Soros and all the international socialists want to put this genie back in the bottle before it wishes ill on them why are they making all the mistakes and sowing the seeds of destruction for so many, maybe even themselves?

I believe its more of the methodology of creating the crisis and then coming through with the solution nobody anticipated and nobody wanted, along the lines of the 1979 revolution in Iran.

So is this we are witnessing, "smart diplomacy", or is it a call to arms for the brave foot soldiers of the leftist movement?

Critical Mass

The Middle East is at a tipping point right now and what that could do to the already fragile one world economy is truly a frightening prospect. Dominoes are falling and I imagine right now Israel is ready for things to take a different tack as they can become the distraction and pacifier for the lunacy of street rioters and venters looking for a target for their pent up frustrations. So many things signal out of control and chaos right now I see the stage being set for the man of perdition to take His place in infamy, thank God there doesn't seem to be that personality out there right now, will the vigilant know Him when he arrives?

With things going on in the world like Governments shutting down the internet and micromanaging and mitigating their manufactured crises its only a matter of time before the World again turns to War to stop these challenges to their status quo. Borders need defense for many reasons and containment of the contagion's is certainly high on everyones list, or it should be, and will be proven to be.

These times they are a tryin', for sure.

For me there is a certain fascination with trying to figure out puzzles. Its part of why I love doing Masonry work, writing music and playing Keno.

There has been a controversy brewing in this country for about 3 years now on the origin of our 44th President, as a man worthy of the highest office in the land, as an American in both mindset and place of birth, and how he rose so high so fast. As Hillary Clinton famously stated, all he has ever done up to this point is give one good speech. She said that at the beginning of her failed bid for the Democrat Party nomination, and her campaign also was the first to make public the shadowy facts surrounding His entire past, from birth through college.

Now I am no conspiracy nut but the intrigue surrounding Obamas past has definitely caught my attention. If I was a novelist this plot would be magnificent. It has all the angles and mystery shrouds ever corner. I am certain at some point it was calculated to keep Obama's career achievements ephemeral. With control over the release of documents and even his thought processes history could be re written at the drop of a dime.

And now it seems that the controversy is going to be gamed to somehow delegitimize detractors as kooks and conspiracy theorists. All this could be stopped by the simple release of the actual certificate.

I am certain that there is something else being hidden here, and while it may not have anything to do with the POTUS' eligibility it may be personally embarrassing to him. Which is too bad but sometimes its not the crime, but its the cover up that is more damaging. A great mystery can captivate everybody.

I always say that honesty is the best policy and just maybe a few States will before the next election have the requirements that real proof of eligibility is necessary to be placed on their ballots. That would add another twist to this saga and I would love to see how team O wriggle around that one.

What if Jared Loughnerd really was a conservative Republican? Where would all the angles of the narrative be leading US now? Censorship and Govt. power would certainly be being exercised at this very moment upon all Right leaning entities. Where would the tolerance line in the sand be drawn then? I am so afraid that with every false accusation the Left levies at the Right and is proved baseless will never count. And then, when one day there will finally be a deranged soul who nuts up and does abhorrent despicable acts against society and innocents and is found to be a Conservative, Republican, or both, all we will hear about is what factors created this inevitability. All humans show some restraint every day as they deal with slights and injustices, and even outright lies and thievery. The weak invariably succumb and flame out, some in spectacular fashion. But most people deal with real reality, and when they can't they just drown in their own self pity and fade away without harming too many people outside their immediate circle.

There is an atheistic cadre of elitists who deign themselves superior to US commoners. Who would rather rely on socialism and secular humanism to control the masses. Their faith is in themselves, for themselves, with themselves atop the heap, making the rules and enforcing their views upon US all.

California changed figureheads and we get a whole new batch of rules. The country changed a legislative body and lets hope we get some serious forward thinking problem solving as we are only a few short years away from the tank. Just like a football team thats a little too little too late I pray our world can straighten itself out here and now. However, now that my children are old enough to attest to the way things were and stand on their own two feet, with a little help still of course, I am ready to say we do need the old way to fall if it can be replaced by true freedom. If the only way this world can keep on its present course is more indebtedness then the course needs to be changed and reverse could be a viable option if its moved back by around 50 years. Which ironically is just about my lifetime, imagine that.

WHY?

The START treaty needs to be stopped, or at least slowed. I heard today that Russia wants no amendments to this treaty signed already by POTUS Obama but needing to be ratified by congress. I can only ask why our President is in this headlong rush to get this deal inked and permanent before the new more balanced congress convenes at the beginning of the new year. The last election had consequences and the Dems seem to want to complete their banishment with a flurry of last minute legislation aimed at weakening our countries national defense and our economic viability. Two legs

of the stool our whole house of cards is stacked upon right now. I continually wonder why moves are being made that make US weaker. In this time that just begs for national unity what is there to possibly be gained by these fantasies of the leftists being turned to reality?

And on a similar note the state of California going it alone on their own cap and trade scheme really is impossible to rectify with common sense that says in times of crisis just do no more harm. We are slitting our wrists even as we have already lost almost all our lifeblood to cerebral hemorrhage. And now Schwarzzy is cozying up to Obama for a Climate Change gig now that he helped bankrupt this once great state. It's really too much to swallow, I can only ask,

Rain Rain

After about 4 straight drier than normal years of winter rainfall here last winter was a welcome return

to normalcy. We started this wet season off with some rain and it seemed like we would be in good shape again to have a normal winter rainfall accumulation. Since I don't have a TV I am not barraged with running totals on the weather report on which percentage of normal we are at and how much snow is in the Sierra and all that. But I can say in my semi expert opinion, I have found that construction workers, and probably farmers, are better weather forecasters than what gets trotted out on the local TV stations. And this seems like a year for potential flooding. I guess with the value of water in this state we should be very thankful, and I am also thankful to have 1 job under cover and one ready for a finish coat and curing beautifully as I sit here dry and typing.

The global warming (now climate change) hysteria and myth must sooner or later be put to rest and we can all just say that the weather is so much bigger and more complex than any of us can realize. The Earth moves in and out of Ice ages and the sun has calm and active periods and we are along to witness the different phases and hang on to weather any storm. We self inflict many troubles upon ourselves as Nations and individuals but one thing I am most certain is that weather is not something we have any control over whether we want to admit it or not.

Big Game Mania

The San Francisco 49ers have had one heck of a disappointing season so far. In the preseason they were looked at as a team that could not miss the playoffs for the 10th straight season or however long it has been. They rolled through San Diego, Minnesota, Indianapolis, and the Raiders and looked like they were going somewhere they haven't been in recent memory, the playoffs. Then came the ugliness of the regular season and ineptitude and just really bad football, really hard to watch football. 0-5 right out of the gate, oof. but then a little fighting and some professional soul searching and they righted their ship, somewhat. Every big game this year they have had a chance to step up thy have stepped back. After being 1-6 and alternating victories with losses to the point they are 5-8 it is really a miracle they still have a shot at the division at all. Once again this weak division will be represented by a team right around .500, and this year possibly 7-9. If the 49ers make it to the playoffs they will most likely be 8-8 and on a nice little end of the season roll, something we used to take for granted from this team was a very strong December run into the playoffs and a team that once in the playoffs had a great chance to go all the way. Of course those days are long gone now and we don't expect much from this team anymore. But the SF Giants caught some magic and just maybe the Niners can too. They will have to be playing great right when they need to be this year, and as much as I would like to jump on the bandwagon it seems every time I get into the hype the last few years the team comes out flat and disappoints again. I will be watching Thursday evening and throwing a grain of salt over my shoulder.

Heres to hoping they can play their best game of the year against a tough team, ironically the very city team (San Diego) the SF Giants had to get past in their improbable run to the MLB championship. Lots of interesting angles here and at least for one more week we have a football team to cheer for playing a meaningful game in December,

always so much fun.

Last nights game really made me realize how much a waste of time it is being emotionally involved in pro sports. The "professional" athletes go home the next day or into their offseason still multi-millionaires and the fans get to dream of the what-ifs and next year and all that garbage. What I witnessed last night was embarrassing and pathetic. In the biggest game of the year the 49ers went for a running play on 4th and inches at the goal line(whatever happened to the quarterback sneak!) they had a kick return(opening the second half) for a TD called back for a penalty, then after a 3 and out and a punt they drop a sure game changing interception, I mean with so many squandered opportunities you would think you were watching Obama and the Democrat controlled congress here. I give up, and if the League does do a strike and kill themselves off like that count me as one who could not care less. What a waste of time and effort it is to invest in these big babies.

Merry Christmas Jerry Brown

Politicians want the job so bad they would do anything to get it. Beg for money, align themselves with groups who may not be entirely on the same page with them, compromise their core principles, and basically tell everybody what they want to hear, and promise the moon. Well Edmund G. Brown Jr. got the gig, just like Barack H. Obama. It is now coming out in public, as if there was still someone out there who didn't know it that we are in a fiscal crisis. California is once again leading the Nation, only this time it is toward an insolvent, debt laden, welfare state. How long can we figure it will take the new Governor Brown to say this problem is so much worse than anyone realized and now more drastic measures are needed to remedy the situation? The excuses for being unable to tackle the problem are being teed up for Brown just like apologists for Obama have somehow forgotten that he said he could fix the problems, he was on top of it and knew what to do. That is why he got elected and then we come to find the trouble is above his pay grade, he really doesn't have a clue how to solve the mess we are in. All the evidence we the people need that talk is especially cheap in the wonderful world of Politics.

And we are paying them to shape the world we will have to live in.

2 Years

In 2 years we have seen change, we have seen hope ~ evaporate. Supermajorities come and go but the buck never stops spinning. Media shills have been exposed and the greater public is now aware of the threat to our democracy, from within. The power(lessness) of giant bureaucracy has been illustrated and who can say our Nation is more respected in the world at large now than before? All I see is diminishing on all fronts, earning ability is down, travel is compromised, peace is threatened and by Government growing ever larger freedom is fading.

In 2 years Obama has done a lot. The country is more divided than ever before, US and European economies remain on the brink of insolvency with no leadership anywhere on the horizon to give the confidence that is what is needed for this recovery. Free markets are assaulted while our border remains open. Our enemies are undefined therefore nonexistent? War is looming on the horizon as North Korea rings the bell to get their payoff or what? Will they march to their own destruction and upset the region? It will take a strong leader or leaders to diffuse these potential undermining of our current structure and stability, unfortunately we have the opposite of a leader at the helm of our country. Destiny has a powerful pull and we will yield to its force some way or another.

2 years in and 2 to go. A lot has happened in the last 2 years and the next 2 should be an interesting and telling ride. Obama is already campaigning and I would say he really never stopped because that is really all he knows. He may prove his naysayers wrong and actually begin to lead the whole country. I doubt that because I think he is ideologically incapable, right now I would rather be wrong, but ....

We think that all this TSA junk and the inability to profile our enemies and to defend our borders are all steps to empower the civillion man army that Obama predicted and will need if he is indeed going to claim dictatorship of these United States, again, I hope I am wrong but only a fool would ignore all these warning signs. But judging from election results there is still a lot of willful ignorance going on out there. It's a 50 - 50 crapshoot which way we go. Talk about teetering on the edge.

The State of California

Our ship of state, or our ship of fools.

And things to come for this country and possibly, the whole world.

We have come to the point where those receiving benefits outnumber those working to pay for them. The system is top heavy and doomed to fail. A politician was heard saying "Let's get serious". I ask the question, what is it going to take? We don't deport illegal aliens even when they are convicted of criminal activity, jobless benefits have been extended ad infinitum, voter fraud goes unpunished, whenever cuts are proposed its always public safety first~ as a kind of threat to the people~ more money is always the answer for a broken educational system, social security and medicare changes are always viewed as politically suicidal if there is any effort to stave off the inevitable insolvency, the list of evidence to the schizophrenia of the American voter could fill volumes. We want it all and don't want to pay for it. Well, I for one and many like me want Government as small as possible, or we want exactly what we are getting for our money spelled out and all waste better stop gushing.

I can only hope and pray that new (old) Governor Jerry Brown will realize this is his swan song and put his legacy before his covenant with those who put him back into the Governors seat. Fixing this once great state should be worth the risk he will face as he must undoubtedly require sacrifices from all of us. His core constituency will squeal the loudest but that is who is right now crushing the state with their demands. It is ironic that Gov. Brown gave these public service employees the right to unionize and strongarm their way straight into the treasury, and now he is the one who must reign them in, or its on him.

It will be most interesting to see how this is all sorted out, since now the Democrats have no one else to blame their incompetence on,

to enable and prolong the inevitable, or to lead, that is the question here.

On the Brink of...

The Country for the most part came to their senses and voted according to what they saw as America in Decline. However, certain parts of the country seemed to have embraced the decline and actually voted for acceleration of the decline. Here in California a most curious idiosyncrasy occurs every election. Herein CA the state is nearly bankrupt, it has been in the near complete control of Democrats for 40 years. So, on the verge of insolvency, what is the smart thingm to do? Would it be to retain the elected officials who created this mess? Apparently so. Maybe the people here thought that Arnold was the Repub brand and he was the one to blame. Well Arnold caved at his first defeat by the unions and the special interests, he was a lame duck for years, with a teeny veto pen. Now we have tax and spenders at every level of State Govt. And worse still the Legislatures were given the ability to raise taxes with a simple majority now. But the far seeing voters didn't quite get that one, they were so focused on no more taxes and fees. And a straight one time payment of 18$ to get in all state parks was too much to pay! But wait, there's more. The proposition to suspend the carbon tax failed, so what do we get? Higher taxes on gasoline and heating gas and most likely all utilities. Go figure that one out. We are in a no tax and fee mode and give politicians the right to raise taxes on us every way to Sunday, I am thoroughly convinced that my fellow citizens in this state are insane , or just plain stupid. And voting Jerry Brown as a 3rd chance Governor is the coup de grace. Don't think he will raise taxes whenever and wherever he can??!!?? Say by to prop 13 and good bye to your homes, seniors on fixed incomes, Jerry Brown has a plan to save the state. He will save it all right, for the Government workers, Unions, and illegal aliens. We will have lots of teachers firefighters and prison guards wondering how the illegals will pay enough taxes to support their lucrative retirements. Oh well, the state is in decline so I guess it might as well go all the way down then maybe the Conservatives will get a chance to fix it. At least here they cannot be blamed for how bad things are, they have not had a say in sooooo long.

On the National level part of me is somewhat relieved that the Dems kept the Senate. I feared that if Obama had the Republicans to blame by way of their new gains in both chambers he could have cruised to another 4 years. Now the Democrats simply must show some leadership and some restraint at the same time. This kind of gridlock may work in the countrys favor. I just don't see the economy totally turning around in the next 2 years so I think we conservatives need to learn to lead and learn to work with baby steps. 2012 is shaping up to be the pivotal election, and while I don't think I will have the ability to leave CA by then, I should be close, and all the evidence anyone needs as to the failures of liberalism will be apparent for anyone with eyes to see.

The Benefit of the Doubt

In American Politics the winner gets the spoils, quite literally. It is ever a 50-50 proposition that will win the day. Or 45-55 or 55-45 lets just say it is close and no one can ever claim a mandate, Apathy and busy-ness insure that we may never get to a real high voter turnout which is what is required to really know exactly where this country stands.

So when George Bush won in 2000 and was then torn apart on a daily basis we never got the chance to rally behind true unity and see what was really possible according to his philosophy. The same holds true for Barack Obama. The same has held true for every President over the years. But the really great Presidents and the really effective ones have always risen above the pettiness and got something done that moved the country forward. Right now Obama is killing his party by lowering the stature of the Presidency and acting decidedly un Presidential. He is acting like he is only President of those who voted for him, or those who can become controlled by their allegiance to him and into and through his vision.

Maybe what was in George Bush's imagination and desire was what was best for this country, maybe what Barack Obama would enact if he could would be better than that, even. What we do know is that the alternate reality will never be known and National Unity may never be realized. Even if this country divided the two new halves would find plenty of issues upon which to separate.

Such Hypocrisy

Google is a multi Billion dollar enterprise with a most definite Liberal Political bias in their headlines, in their political donations and in their corporate image. Now why in the world would they want to shield Billions and billions of dollars from US Corporate income tax? Can they really feel that a wealthy individual should pay between 50 and 70% rate when their Corporation is only paying 2.4%? I really cannot follow the logic there.

National Public Radio fires Juan Williams for being candid while he was working for a cable Television program. It seems that the official National Government position is that of an Islamophobe, or one who is afraid to offend Muslims. Now Juan Williams seems to me an individual who would bend over backwards not to be provocative toward Islam and to get fired for speaking truth just illustrates why I think we have already lost the debate in the battle of civilizations Islam imposes on US. They are masters of using their host countries benefits and open societies to further their goal of turning that very country into a totalitarian dictatorship.

Everybody I talked to wondered is this terrorism? Or just a nutjob terrorizing people.

Christine O'Donnel makes a great point in her debate at a Law School on the Church/State issue and gets ripped in the press and by the junior league Lawyers. What part of "Congress shall make no Law" do all these liberals fail to be able understand? Our Constitution is clear and precise and the Framers were very obvious they believed and intended our Nation to continue to seek Gods favor first, by doing His will and remaining true to Our principles and to Gods own edicts. Its amazing to me how our Nation continues to remain strong with so many using the very freedoms this country offers to tear this country apart.

California is doomed the way we are set up and being run right now.

Evidence in point:

*Selling off State owned buildings and then renting them back.

*The Candidates for Governor are squabbling over a Nanny and a name calling.

*A budget that yearly get passed months late is always covering up deficits with shenanigans.

*The largest population of Illegal Immigrants in the country.

*The largest population of welfare cases in the nation.

*Big Cities that are liberal and rural areas that are conservative with most all population in the big cities.

*12 and a 1/2 per cent unemployment.

*Highest taxed citizens in the country.

* State Government fixated on global warming to the point of skewing numbers in order to raise taxes and restrictions.

* Current Governor endorsing a pathetic RINO in another state.

* Willing electorate to watch the debacle and continue to vote in the same politically corrupt hacks election after election.

*Good productive citizens leaving for other states if they are able to do so.

Face it fellow Californians, if we don't start electing representatives who look out for all the interests of all our people this State will only be Golden in our memories.

A Progressive NightMare

The voters in this country who lean to the Left and support Obama in his remaking of America are now starting to feel that maybe they have followed his lead a bridge too far. With the possibility of losing the US House of Representatives for sure and possibly the Senate in a few weeks the total power they felt for 2 years is rapidly evaporating. When they lose the Presidency in 2012 the whole Government structure will be tilted to a President having more authority to work without the advice and consent of Congress and a precedent of UnConstitutionality. Both these improbabilities wrought by Obama with nearly full Democrat Party support. Both these issues will be rued by their creators when the shoe is on the other foot.

Obamas legacy will be that he brought US closer to the likelihood of Dictatorship. When a Republican President takes over I can already hear all the howling and moaning from the left and their MainStream Media mouthpieces. Today we are already getting some preliminary stories on this subject and its slanted toward Republicans who have been completely out of power for 2 years and virtually out of power for 6.

Its funny and sad that what is good for the goose is also good for the gander but how quickly we forget when we are on the outside looking in. Beware what you wish for, you just might get it, and all that goes with that wish may not be what you really want. In the Democrats case it is so much easier to criticize Republicans than to actually lead and have ideas that work. When there is no critical press reporting and no one to tell you that you are on the wrong path look how far off the track you can get, in just 2 years!

California is about to be Left Behind

When the political tsunami hits this country in just a little over 3 weeks there will be a few noteworthy stories on the victories of the Leftists. One will be right here in the failing state of California. So many strongholds of liberalism will be rocked and their once solid foundations undermined and exposed. But on the Left Coast California will stand apart as a monument to liberalism that may never be toppled.

After over 100 days without a budget the State politicians finally passed the latest version of smoke and mirrors and passing of the Buck to the next year(s). The Federal Government operating in much the same way is about to get corrected. The reason for that is the rest of the Country will provide the restraint as their way of life will be eroded right along with those who use the Government en masse. There is a quote about when the electorate can vote from the public treasury largesse for themselves you have effectively lost your Republic. That is where we are right now in the country at large and here in the once Golden State. The voters will figure out which way they want to go as a group.

Unfortunately California progressives are taking the path to decline as the Country as a whole is taking its turn back toward prosperity and sanity. This State may very well be a drag on the whole country as our population and GDP are equal or greater than many countries. We will be able to judge the seriousness of the California voter after November 2nd if Jerry Brown takes the Governorship and Barbara Boxer remains our US Senator. That will be my signal that this state may have to crash and burn completely before we regain our spot as the best State in this once great Nation. If I could realistically pick up and operate my business in any other State or country I would seriously consider doing it. I know we need people to remain loyal to where they were born and raised and work hard to fix the problems, but we are importing our demise faster than we are raising up a new generation to repair the damage. The exponential growth of this imbalance makes rebuilding almost impossible.

I know out of every problem a better answer will emerge. All we have to do is look what is happening on a National level with Obamas agenda and his unmasking, creating a refreshed Conservative Movement to offer US hope. The same will happen here in California.

Held To Account

I finally made it to my accountant today to finish up my 2009 fiscal year Taxes. It was a good meeting and so very refreshing to find out that he is a man of God. After all the information was posited and my dreadful year was laid bare we had a chance to talk about fiscal health on the personal and national level. I was having a difficult time keeping up with him even though I have been interested and keeping up on world financial trends and trajectories. I want to become more wise in economics and my quest to become debt free is now almost complete. I will live the rest of my life with only a mortgage debt, I hope and even that is something I have a chance to eliminate in less than 10 years. I have a friend I greatly admire in her ability to make this philosophy a way of life. I know I will never again become the slave of debt unless it is to save a life.

After 17 years in a marriage that started and ended broke I have learned enough to write a pretty good book, and I may do just that. I have been close to 2 women accountants in the last couple years and they have made such an impact on my life. I know they were put in my path for a reason, and even though I have not figured out exactly what that was and why, I have been blessed by them and the control I now take on financial situations is testimony that lifes lessons are difficult as well as beautiful, timely and all the evidence I need that God continues to bless my very existence. What a friend we have in the Lord, if only we are able to understand His Love.

He gives us a trial and a way out. And that is such a great way to learn.

Divided We Stand

President Obama came into office with controlling majorities in both houses of Congress and a phenomenal 70% favorable rating out in the electorate at large. Big cities and small towns all gave him the benefit of the doubt in regards to goodwill and how they believed he would Govern from the center, not from the left. Incredibly Team Obama has totally blown their advantages to the point of losing the House of Representatives and maybe losing control of the Senate. They will definitely not have a super majority anywhere anymore, maybe never again... Unless the Republican Party falters once again when they are given a chance to lead with Conservative Principles as their guide post.

Some of US knew all along that Obama was just pretending to be bi-partisan to gain the confidence of the independents and all the people who pay little attention to actions and deeds but only listen to sound bites on the evening news. We knew that sooner or later a man who was the most partisan in the US Senate, even if he was there for only 2 years, would not be able to stay a middle course when he had a chance to take a hard turn toward the left. Obama had a great opportunity to be one of the greatest Presidents ever. But he was blinded by his ideologies and subservient to those who empowered him through their investment in his candidacy. Now we are left with a petulant sophomoronic college lecturer of a President. How he governs without the cover of delegation to Pelosi Reid Waxman and Biden et al will tell all we need to know about the character of the 44th President of the United States.

Its ironic that what will first test the mettle of our young President will be from within the safety and security and confines of our Nation. Outside the walls, the wolves are circling, we have been invaded and pressure is mounting to give up as defenders of freedom and Democracy.

This fall will not be pretty.

Faith The Nation

With all the campaigning going on out there it figures that the President will want to get out of Washington and into the friendly confines of a good campaign rally somewhere where he can control the environment and the questions that his teleprompter will answer.

To question the faith of any man is not really fair, it is God's providence to judge US and correct us. But when a man stands up and professes a certain Faith those of US who also believe must surely assess the truth and veracity of what is said. For a politician to use religion as a tool to identify and get credibility with a certain group is nothing new.

The election coming will yield a whole new dynamic in the US Senate and House of Representatives. I hope whoever claims whatever religious affiliations remains steadfast and honorable to their convictions and lets see if they are considering doing Gods will above all else.

In a representative republic we are forced to elect people to vote on our behalf on measures that effect everything. The Founding Fathers of this country knew this instinctively along with great knowledge of human behaviour and psychologies. We need to have faith in our system and in God, as for our fellow man we must let the evidence of their actions speak louder than their words.

How else could an Obama rise to the level he is at? Synonymous with emergency, or a date of infamy, but its also two odd numbers, one a perfect square root the other prime right in sequence. It can also represent September 11 of any old year. People have birthdays, wedding anniversaries, football and soccer games on this day and just celebrate their lives. Life goes on. It could mean a little after 9 am and coffee break is almost over or any different number semantics. The point of this is that wherein the biggest story is to some all encompassing, there are so many isolated insignificant and even mundane side issues in any happenstance that ambiguity or disillusion are ever present altering perceptions. It takes universal perspective to be in 100% agreement on anything, and only God has that.

Take the Ground Zero Mosque and the Koran Burning in Florida and the 1st Amendment story. 2 wrongs dont make a right and where real rights are concerned we all have a right to free speech, except you yell fire in a crowded theater and thats a crime. So is bearing false witness. With rights come responsibilities and sensibilities. It makes no good point to offend other people. If Islam really is a religion of Peace why put a Mosque right where 3,000 people were murdered in the name of Islam. It would just make sense they can put it somewhere else. If a Pastor wants to burn the Koran he should think of all those who believe that is the word of God and do not subscribe to the radical Wahabbist brand of Islam. It is highly insulting to mock their faith like that. Let him set up a debate with Islamic Scholars and point out all the various contradictions and fallacies in that text. Makes more sense to me to do that, of course a small church like that cannot generate any notoriety and does not deserve the InterNational recognition they have received for this stunt. Thats the news Media hyping a story sure to inflame passions on both sides. 9 11 to them means 2001 is forever the definition and protests, counter protests, symbolism and remembrance all vie for our attention in their news cycle news reporting on that infamous anniversary.

The fact that our President and our top General out there fighting these Radical Religionists came out and said that this will cause our troops to be in danger seems so weak and its as if we have already surrendered to Islam. The fanatics on the Islamic street and their crazy, hell-bent tirades and protests and just their willingness to die for their ideology will always win out over our desire for everybody to like US and our standing up for freedom and our desire for a peaceful resolution. Asymmetry in every way, from our efforts to separate Church and state to their Caliphate. Its as if US being in the Middle East and fighting these terrorists isn't really fighting at all. If, after all, it just takes a wacked out Pastor in a dinky Florida Church to burn a Koran to put our soldiers in danger?!? Come on, we know that as long as we play tiddly winks with these Radical Theologists there really is no sense fighting them at all. Eventually they will win if we don't want to. We should have never gone to War if we were not prepared to utterly destroy our enemy. And Afghanistan as it is now composed is not worth a drop of American blood. So if we don't want our troops in danger, why are they there?

Its as simple as that. We really don't.

Maybe our speech is free, but we have to live with all the ramifications of it and the truth will be evident for all to see and what has been said can't be taken back. Whether it makes you seem weak, or mean, or upset, or indifferent, the impression never goes away.

To Answer Your Own Question?

There was a poll taken and Americans were asked if Barack Obama is a Muslim. I think there is really no question at all that he is hiding who he really is. And not that there is anything really wrong with Obama being a Muslim, other than the fact he would be lying about what he believes to get elected where he otherwise would never have had a chance. And that we are at war with a radical strain of Islam that the religion as a whole cannot seem to separate itself from or show any need for reformation. No real Christian would ever say the things that Obama says about Islam and the "Holy" Koran, or espouse abortion, overtly cow tow to Muslim Nations and leaders, deny our national prayer day, endorse a Mosque at ground zero, embrace Black Liberation theology, say our Nation is not a Christian Nation, not set a good example by going to Church when you are such a high profile believer, endorse Marxism/ Socialism, say your fellow believers are clinging to religion and guns in such a condescending manner, set himself on the wrong side of the Israeli/Palestinian conundrum, claim that the Muslim call to prayer was one of the most beautiful sounds on Earth, be born a Muslim, etc. etc. And not that all people are not hypocritical either, nobody is perfect, yet we must stand for something. And standing for what we believe in is what we are called to do.

The writer for AP story linked above, Alan Fram, says it so assuredly that the poll respondents are~ incorrect. I wonder how he can be so certain when Islam teaches its adherents that they can lie or sin in just about any way to further their religious/ political belief system upon the infidel? I see little to no evidence that Obama is a Christian at all, other than his claim, which like everything else hidden in his past, seems to be only to further his political career.

There is little evidence that Obama loves his Country and I don't see him saying Jesus Christ is his Lord and Saviour, either. I believe many are right to question where his loyalty lies, only because he is contradicting himself. If he wanted to keep his faith to himself that would be one thing, but he has shown outright favoritism toward Islam over his professed true religion. It is right to discern who this is that we have leading US and to where is he leading?

War is on the horizon with Iran, or the balance of power in the middle east shifts with their acquiring of an Atomic Bomb. What is our President doing to avert that disaster? Appeasement will only ensure that the war is worse than we could ever imagine. And all Christians who believe their Bibles know that we must stand with Israel if we wish to continue to receive Gods blessings on our country. Bible prophecy predicts that the world will unite against Israel and I see Obama lining US up on the wrong side of this situation. If he really is a Christian and I can't say for sure he isn't since I don't know his heart, I am praying he makes evidence that he truly believes in the same God as Christians and Jews and does what is right. There really is no voting present on this issue and peace or war hang in the balance.

I know a lot of people say what does the Middle East and Israel really have to do with US and North America? Well if that whole situation there went as bad as possible and Israel was destroyed and took Iran with them and the whole middle east went bonkers we would still be standing here, yes. Europe would be in huge trouble since they are so dependent on that oil, probably China too. The whole world economy would suffer greatly and chaos like we have never dreamed would ensue. The status quo is hardly acceptable but if Iran gets the bomb and proliferation engulfs the middle east we will regret the day we turned this problem over to one Barack Hussein Obama. Granted former President Bush punted on the Iran problem too, but he swam against such a tide and time was not on his side. But he did set up the next President with all the necessary logistics to make the tough decisions a little easier. Obama's handling of the situation will be exactly what the radical Islamascists were hoping when he got elected. World dictators know they have a very weak global cop right now. The wheels are in motion now. So much is about to be plowed and many will pay with their lives.

And we will have change.

A Tool and a Fool

You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time. What politicians promise and what we get are usually on opposite ends of the spectrum, which is usually what happens when we put our faith in fellow man. Sometimes the players get played, and eventually the Faustian bargainers become grist for the mill.

Like a relationship between a man and a woman, trust must be in the center point balancing everything out. If the relationship starts with lies or is predicated on deception how can it ever progress into unconditional love, respect or admiration? The same hold true in our relationships with the Government and everyday people with whom we interact, like anyone selling anything, health care professionals, automotive repair people , people who work in on and around our homes, even people who serve us food. A free society is a society based on trust or it will crumble. Like paying our taxes, receiving assistance in the form of unemployment or welfare, filing an insurance claim, on and on and on...

Liars and cheats will have all the room they need to operate and usually you can't know until you have been had.

Politicians have mastered the art of talking out both sides of their mouths. Our society is shown that example by the ruling class that honesty is a means to an end and truth is relevant only as far as what it takes to gain whichever objective is in the periscope. So is it any wonder that now there is no longer pride in furthering a trade, only pride in material things? Now an honest days work for an honest days pay is a fools errand. The things that last like friendships and monuments have become just signposts on the way, stepping stones and markers of where we once were. Now we see its more about what people can get from one another, we used to care about how we treated our fellow man. We used to want the value that we gave to be equal to that which we received. Saving a buck at anyones expense has become the American way.

My most heartfelt prayer will always be to let honesty rule the day and lets all learn to deal with the ramifications of that. I can handle the truth if its the whole truth, there's really no other option but acceptance. I believe the times we are in now are just a trial for what is to come, a chance to prove our mettle and rise above pettiness and worldliness. A chance to be true.

The 10th Amendment to the Constitution is under assault, and the way this one plays out is the harbinger to the upcoming Civil War. The problem with the Federal Usurpation of the States rights is that if a citizen disagrees with a ruling in any particular State they can pick up and move to a State that operates in a manner that is agreeable to the citizen. If the Federal Government takes over everything and dictates what we do and what we buy, what recourse have we? To move to a different country? That is totally un-American and antithetical to what it means to be an American citizen. Or is that what they are after with all these attempts to dilute our citizenship and our vote.

Pushing Racism

When Barack Obama was elected President of the United States we were supposed to be beyond racial divisions in this country. Instead what we get is race first with sub groups pitted against one another, divisions are springing up everywhere in every possible context. There are just too many race baiters out there who make a good living keeping racial tensions high, and too many politicians that pretend to serve minorities. Obama has been unable to transcend the race albatross I believe because he is where he is because of affirmative action, because of race. Would the politician pictured above have been elected holding the same qualifications as BHO? I think not... in fact, I know not!

Take Shirley Sherrod's recent firing for instance. Also the imbroglio surrounding the journolist and all the race ill-advised missteps the current administration has taken, take the hue and cry of racism every time opposition is expressed to Obama's Democrat led push onward toward the socialist utopia. What I see in Obama now is not so much the empty suit but as policy armor by which being part Kenyan American shields his incompetence and shields his directive re making America into a European style socialist Democracy. I can understand black Americans wanting a black President and aligning with a great American who happened to be American of African descent. There is a long history of injustice and group malignment and also unity and brotherhood from shared experience. But the Keynesian Kenyan is a socialist/statist first, and his policies are not helping minorities at all. I do not quite understand why 98% of all Black Americans would not stand behind a conservative Black politician too, except for the fact that the media would be against such a candidate from the outset and would destroy such a politician and would not be branded racist for doing so. Sooner or later the conservatives will put up a woman or an AfricanAmerican and then we shall see the the double standard flying high.

Meg Whitman's Bait and Switch

How does this always happen in California? We always get a politician who will tell us what we want to hear up to the point where we can't do anything about it anymore. We got Arnold and what a joke he turned out to be. Meg Whitman looks to have revealed her true nature a little too soon, and now we actually have a chance to make our voices heard before she can be elected. Of course, even the worst Meg Whitman will be better than anything Jerry Brown can do to us. It is just so disheartening when all the tough talk gets the Pol on the big stage and then, what happens here? Are those special interests so powerful that they threaten lives? Threaten careers and reputations? What makes someone abandon all reason and begin spouting the lies of the left? The answer to the questions asked would shine a bright light on a corrupt state that has to rival Chicago and DC as the most corrupt place in the not for long United States of America.

To always dredge up the ghost of prop 187 and sell it as an affront to people who use their brains denies the truth that 187 was very popular with the voters and thrown out by a judge. Is that another quality we can look to from Meg Whitman? Something Arnold illustrated completely? Not fighting for your cause especially if its right?

Activist

The Letter I wrote to my Senator today

Dear Senator Feinstein

While I am sure that I am not considered by you as a constituent who will vote for you or the Democrat Party in this coming election or any other in the near future I would like to give you the perspective of somebody who has to live under the rules you help create.

I am an independent who left the Republican Party for their lack of honesty and integrity. I vote my conscience which is always Conservative. I believe in God (Christian) and I believe we are held as a Nation to a certain standard. So I vote accordingly.

The topic of illegal Immigration is near and dear to my heart, because I am in direct competition with them for my livelihood on a daily basis. I am a construction contractor in CA and have been for 5 1/2 years now. I have never had an employee and do all work myself or in partnerships with other contractors. We see the deterioration of our ability to get a living wage on a daily basis competing with unscrupulous contractors who hire illegals and pay substandard and below the ability for a person to pay all bills required by our society. Some homeowners hire the illegal aliens directly as I am certain you all are aware of at any Home Depot parking lot there are dozens who try to work for cash and solicit to the patrons right there in the parking lot. I am certain no taxes workers comp or insurances are paid on these deals and I am certain that most all those laborers are Illegal Immigrants.

My question is why would my Government, that taxes me to where I can barely afford any upward mobility, prefer an Illegal alien to a 5th generation Californian with ancestors who fought and died in Wars to protect our great country? It makes no sense and I regretted President Bush for doing this and every President before him all the way to Reagan whose amnesty program was supposed to be the last.

I have a few suggestions that if you are going to grant amnesty, and I think that is selling out all present and any future citizen that has followed the law. First, the generation that broke the Law to get here is never allowed to vote, or at least must wait 10 years so they know what is really going on within their new country. Second the border gets closed and we train our soldiers who go to other countries to fight by securing the deserts and wastelands and the ways we are being invaded. I have crossed the Northern border legally and it is not so easy. It is the Southern Border that is porous, and really a joke. No services should be afforded for these lawbreakers either. If they think our Country is so grand and they can become Americans do it by the sweat of their brow, just like I had to do. My Government has never helped me to achieve any level of success, and now I am being driven backwards right back to poverty. Last, why not use all the criteria that past Immigrants had to follow? Like being sponsored or self sufficient, have a job first, know the Language (English) and pass a test on our History and Laws. Is it too much to ask that if I am being sold out that I at least get someone who will play by the same rules as are expected of me and were of my forefathers?

I attest that if our elected representatives or their staffers who are reading these letters had to compete with and have their standard of living degraded by the presence of illegal aliens we would not be talking amnesty or comprehensive immigration reform. We would instead be talking about how really secure our borders and our ability to feed our families really was. It is that double standard that drives me to write this letter to you, causes me to grieve for my Country, and causes me to despair. For I realize everything weighing in the scales and the insulated and the ones who benefit from our ridiculous broken system are the ones who can change it and that is why they resist fixing the problem. I have the power of my vote and I eagerly await the chance to exercise it.

Come November the politicians will know just how bad they have disgraced themselves and will see what was created in this leaderless vacuum.

Happy BirthDay America

We are 234 today as a Nation. We have seen some trying times in the glorious past. The last 2-3 years have been difficult for sure, but the only fundamental transformation we need is back to our founding principles. The spirit that forged this Nation by breaking away from the Empire is the same Spirit that will save US now. Time to get back to the basics and remember why Freedom is held dear. May we look back in another 234 years and be thankful for these days. We have been shown a path that will lead to our demise and we know the way we must go to get right. Now is not the time to experiment but the time to chart the course to better days.

America Deserves Better

We get the Government we deserve is the most accurate phrase I hear today. And, I believe it too. At some point in the course of our History we have forgotten the principles set forth with the founding of this Great Nation. I feel almost all politicians have become self ingratiating, and power hungry before they honor their pledge to defend and uphold the Constitution. Politicians of both parties here in America, and I also believe most politicians around the world are in the same mind frame. Cowards and full of greed first and foremost. Some have personality disorders that make them susceptible to worship and fawning, and continue to inflate their over sized egos. I pray that somehow the people voting and those getting the votes reacquaint themselves with how honorable their positions are and how first and foremost doing Gods will toward their fellow man is supposed to be at the top of their priority list. We don't need Government to do everything for US, we don't need a fish today, we need the Government to get out of our way so we can fish for the rest of our lives. Honoring the rule of Law should be the bedrock we build off of.

America and the western world have been shnookered by a would be Manchurian, like it or not, believe it or not...

Opposite Day

Every New Day in America we are treated with a new excuse and a reason for the failure of our Government. Systems failing, all over the world, the Western Way of cradle to Grave liberalism has brought our advancements to its knees. Only a matter of time now and the catalyst elected to usher in the big change will have completed the task of paving the way for the One World Government. 2012 is a stones throw away now, and look how the old way is crumbling beneath the feet of Big Governments' all around the world. Maybe the Mayans were on to something. Maybe we had it wrong, change is coming.

But what change??!!??

Warning to the World, if Obama cannot even get any legislation passed in the US Govt., with controlling majorities in both houses of Congress, how will he do as President of the World? It's the anti- Midas Touch!

Whats down is up and whats up is down anymore. We are practically being enticed into a mob mentality under our regime. For a President with the allure of unity all I see is the division of America along every possible line. Race , class, gender, geography, any difference is exploited to advance agenda politics. Its not America first anymore, its President, then party, then politicians then constituents, then who can be added in to that amalgamation, and lastly everybody else who does not agree with their version of moving forward. America has never been as divided as we are right now. I know the Democrats feel that Bush was against them, but they should honestly look at the record and the facts. Bush advanced the country as a whole as his first consideration. The things they disagree with him on ( like Iraq, like deficit spending, like bigger Government) they originally were for.

If Obama and the Democrat Party thinks this country can live without oil then I would love to watch them try. The obvious intelligent way to separate ourselves from our complete dependence on this natural resource is to create the new energy source first and begin the transition step by step. But abasing yourself and then saying look how horrible it is is a childish manipulative way to dramatize the down side of anything.

Seems like thats what we get with our immigration policy and our financial woes, the job market also seems to be illustrative not of a solution, but an exacerbation to reach a fulcrum point where we grasp at the strawmen our leaders present to US. Its not leading, this method that the Democrats have determined is the path they will take to lead US into their Utopia trap.

NEVER Let a Crisis Go to Waste

The oil gushing into the Gulf of Mexico is an un believable illustration of the arrogance, incompetence and Impotence of the Obama Administration and the way they wield the full power of the American Government.

Right from the get go on this disaster I was very suspicious. Just a few weeks after Obama increased off shore drilling and exploration there was an explosion and fire on the deep sea oil drilling platform. My first inclination was sabotage from Greenpeace or some activist group like that. Getting even with the greedy capitalists for drilling in the Gulf. Actually this rig was in the process of shutting down.

The initial sluggish Govt. response caused me to ponder other possible scenarios. Could it be a terrorist attack? We all know DHS will not rush to judgement on 'man made disasters'. Not to be outdone by the truthers I even contemplated a Government conspiracy to dove tail with the cap and tax energy industry legislation making its way through the Senate. I just cannot fathom our Government murdering our own citizens for political gain, so I chucked that theory. I have come to terms that this is just either an act of gross negligence and foolhardy luck pushing or just a freak accident of nature with ominous timing.

So much for the accident itself, it's done and now we must move on and contain the spill and clean up the mess. No one is asking Obama to suck it up with a straw, or wave a magic wand and make it all go away. And I am continually amazed at why he thinks he has to remind people he is the President, yet with less than super hero powers. I guess all the hype that got him into office caused a lot of people to expect more out of him? I personally never expected much out of him, and I would have been pleasantly surprised had he been a decent executive. But he is only one year older than me and seems about as ready to lead a Nation as I am. If the best he can do is get the Government out of the way then he should be doing that. Cut the red tape environmental protection and let Louisiana build the berms. Co ordinate so BP can get the booms from Maine. Start putting all the unemployed people to work helping clean up the mess. Enlist the help of other Nations who are offering, especially with the reset diplomacy we now enjoy. There is so much that this Government can do. I liked Maureen Dowds assessment, instead of "yes we can" Obamas slogan should be "will we ever"? When even the liberals dump on the One you know he's lost his luster.

I am now convinced that the oil is still flowing freely into the gulf because the Obama Administration wants to use this crisis to discredit oil drilling and the oil industry altogether. Maybe they worked it out with BP that they will put the moratorium on all drilling but BP can get all this oil to market and when the relief wells are in place who will be getting that oil? Meanwhile all other drilling will be stopped even in Alaska! Except of course China over by Cuba along with Russia, Venezuela, and Mexico right there in the gulf.

Shutting down these rigs also appears to be the more dangerous aspect of running them so if we shut them all down, then what? Invitation for more trouble? If this crisis is being managed for political gain it will be one of the most heinous acts of treason our country has ever seen.

There are plenty of questions, we need to get some answers. Not so we can sue somebody or kick someones @ss, but because we are not yet off oil and we need it. We will never be completely off oil, and it is a natural resource after all. This is just an unnatural way to deal with any problem.

Father Of Lies

Socialism represents the opposite of the traditional values that Christian (Western) Nations espoused as they ascended to the high place they now hold on the graph of civilizations.

Capitalism and free markets, defined borders and reality ensure competition that is fair and beneficial to all who honestly engage. The rules being the same for all who play, the giving in line with the taking, the Government only being a referee and an upholder of the system and rules. Why can't we all see that this is what it takes to engender prosperity and real freedom. For is not our time our most precious commodity? And what takes most of our time? Regulations, red tape, taxes, unfair competition and servicing bureaucracy.

Our leaders in Washington right now are turning US into a force that once (6-6-44) lived and died for an ideal, but will now fanagle and sue our way to an equality that is only guaranteed to lower all down to the lowest common denominator. We used to build things, do things, solve problems, and overcome all obstacles. Now we find a million reasons to fail. Now we are so progressive the only direction we feel is safe is backwards. We need to begin to feel we control our own fate, lets start by choosing Political leaders who can lead with a vision, not react when their dream is shattered by reality.

Shut uP AND sING

Last year I went to a music festival in the Coachella Valley. The night we went Paul McCartney headlined and was really awesome as a musician. The show was great, and the night was beautiful. Almost perfect except for my friend being unable to attend. But Paul McCartney after lionizing Linda and her love of the desert and his emotional tribute to her, it was her birthday after all, went a little too far for me and I am sure a decent percentage of people just there to see him sing his songs. On the big screen there was an image of a flock of birds and they turned(morphed) into an image of Barack Obama. Personally I was horrified. I never knew Paul McCartney to be a political hack. I didn't even want to know what his feelings were about American politics. He went on and on about this great man, and I almost wanted to throw up right there. It could have just been the inconsiderate guy smoking right beside me who was holding his cigarette like an incense stick, IDK, but I had to leave my really good position near the stage anyway. At the time Obama had done little to improve the economy or race relations or really anything in this country. I knew McCartney had to be a hopey changey zealot of some sort and I lost so much respect for him right then and there. As we walked to the parking lot after the show I wondered aloud to Tony what could McCartney see in Obama and why on earth would he make a big deal of it at a concert? Tony shot me a look like quiet down, this place is crawling with liberal, dreamy, dope smoking, intolerant types. I just didn't get it, and that one thing Sir Paul did lost me as his fan forever. He can go on and on on his own about how much he loves the possibility of Obama uniting the world, but it was supposed to be a fun time, not a political rally.

Fast forward to earlier this week, and McCartney getting his award at the Whitehouse. Barry probably just invited him there to sing Michelle to Michelle, jk. Well, I have no problem with those two getting along and loving each other and supporting one another, its a free world. But McCartney went on and disrespected former President Bush right there in the White House in front of Obama. Now Obama is a smart guy, smart enough to get elected to President anyway. But he has never shown any scholarly papers, college transcripts, or, for that matter, even a birth certificate. Heck , take Obama off his teleprompter and he is a stuttering stammering gaff prone pedestrian intellect. Bush got an MBA in Harvard Business School, is married to a Librarian, and also has a BA in History at Yale. Where does McCartney get off making such a rude comment that Bush doesn't even know what a Library is? And why would McCartney jump in and give Obama all this credit for being so smart? Something doesn't add up here, I guess the international leftists must all stick together. McCartney didn't go to college what makes him think he's all that smart himself? They are all true believers and here in America the bloom is off the rose, but I guess the international leftist community still needs America down a couple pegs more, and Obama is just the guy to do it. Its all so pathetic. I wish musicians would learn to keep their politics to themselves because all of their listeners do not necessarily agree with their world view. You would think they would want to keep all their fans, and not alienate about half of them.

I have nothing against anybody expressing their viewpoints or ideas or anything they see about any political figure or philosophy. However when I am a paying customer I pay for the music not the politics. And so said musicians should not be surprised when their condescension shatters their image as just a minstrel. Putting their own reputation on the block. Credibility is a terrible thing to waste.

Im now convinced Obama is absolutely set on destroying our country. Look at what we are up against. Observations

Hypocrisy is alive and well in the media reporting establishment. The President takes more money than anyone from the very firm he then vilifies, and doesn't get called on it? At the very least the timing of the inquisition should draw scrutiny. Yet it does not, why no curiosity? Dodd, Frank and everyone who uses the revolving door between Goldman Sachs and the Government should be held to a higher standard. Is it any wonder that 80% of this country distrust this Government? And by that I mean the Republicrats and the Demicans.

God won't be mocked.

Obama has made his position clear on Israel and where he will fall in line when the Earths Armies all line up in the prophetic Plain of Megiddo. I am so appalled to have to consider this man the leader of my country and fear he will bring Gods judgement upon US. Obama has unmasked himself to be a Jack Christian. Opportunistic is what our President has always been standing upon. Claiming Christianity as a cover to get elected in this Christian nation, claiming black when that suits his needs, playing rich with his rich buds and poor to the ghetto, what a chameleon and a phony. If the people would have really looked into who this man was by his actions not his rhetoric and disguise we would not all be so surprised at where his leadership has brought US. Watch what the other hand is doing. We are gearing up for a Supreme court fight but trading a lib for a lib is not really newsworthy, we need to be aware of the freedom we are losing behind the scenes as we hyperventilate about the economy health care and the tea party movement. All things must be paid attention to but the big picture is still that Obama is in the process of dismantling the country before he can rebuild it. The Democratic process is jettisoned and Obama will make as much change as he can before he loses majorities in November. Amnesty and the Banking takeover will pose grave risks to a fragile economy and the cap and tax may be retried in the Senate. The scorched earth policy the Democrat Party is favoring is alarming and a call to Americans to stand on our constitution as never before.

The environment is a living entity that can lay low all the plans and efforts of humankind and remove all traces of our inhabitation in a blip if that is how things are to proceed. It is vain and even imperious to believe that we can control the environment. The only way we can change the environment would be to not exist anymore. No matter what, our existence will cause some ripple. If we go back to pre industrial age living standards we will still burn would for heat and have to live off the land any way we can. And there are billions here on the planet now. Let US transition to a new energy carefully and with minimal effect on the economy. Poorer nations always pollute more, because everybody will do whatever it takes to survive. We have enough energy within our sovereign borders to transition, why are our leaders so reticent to use what is needed. Raising taxes on energy will destroy any chance to experiment and grow our way to a better future. It is a strong economy that enables invention and raising taxes now will kill the economy right as it is struggling, in spite of Obama and the Democrats policies, to do what a free market economy will do all by itself, grow and expand.

Lets Make a Deal

Ever see a country self annihilate? Its happening right here, right now. The Washington(DC) crowd is being emulated by the California crowd and the New Jersey crowd and of course, the Illinois crowd. Throw in Florida and New York and what is that? Practically half the country, populationwise. I swear I am witnessing insanity on a mass scale. Who is emulating who, though? States cannot print money, so they are really the first to go and the first to know. Its like the Federal Government is egging US on, "Go ahead we can spend like there's no tomorrow, so you can too" Is it because there is no tomorrow? Are we just getting promised all the goodies for free now so when our freedom is required and we feel we must give something. And yet have nothing but our freedom left to give? By the time we receive what we are being sold out for I doubt it will be worth any price, whatever that price ends up being.

There's a juvenilistic deans list dreamer in The Peoples House. A sophomore who feels he can do an all night bs session with his frat buds propounding themes of equality and grandeur yet he has never had a real world accomplishment beyond getting elected to a public office, and an autobiography or two. He sees others views on life and death matters as inferior to his own if they disagree. His contempt for the nascent wisdom of any contrary idea to his own illustrates his close mind, condescension and true lack of wisdom trying to coalesce a unanimous stance when this whole country and other countries are put at risk by his unilateral compulsion.

He is wheeling and dealing our future and our kid's kids' future right down the 'ole rat hole. Affirmative action is one heavy two edged sword, it gets you so far and then if you don't have what it takes, you are in over your head, sunk. Exactly where the Anti-Bush is right now. Its good that Obama is not like Bush in all ways, yet in all the ways it would be better for Obama to be less like Bush he is just like him or even out-Bushing Bush himself! At least we can't blame the current rate of decline on faux conservatism. This is leftism and socialism on steroids. This is an intellectuals dream, a problem that can never be solved but will always have the appearance of being solved by more liberalism and more money shovelled in the general vicinity. Bush set the stage for this mess we are now in and opened the flood gates to spend away our future. Obama has blown up the dam, released the hounds, damn the torpedoes, and its Utopia or bust. The writing is on the wall where we end up going down this path. Give up all hope ye who enter here.

Why, we ask, are we weakening our defense capability right now when we are also weakening our economic ability to project power and authority? To whom are these concessions really being made? We can't even defend our borders properly yet we will trust a recently vanquished adversary to put down their weapons if we do first? We telegraph what our response will be if attacked, for what end? Isn't the uncertainty of what nuclear weapons can do and will bring what MAD was all about? Where is there a nuclear threat right now? It is bubbling up from a wannabe who will never sign any treaty. And even if they did sign on it would be worthless. Our friends are being slighted and offended while our foes are being elevated to a credibility they neither have nor deserve. To what end I ask? The answer is frightening and becoming more clear with every new front that Obama assaults our freedom and liberty on.

There is a score that our President wants to settle with "his" Country. The enslavement of the Middle Class would be a nice feather in his multi-cultural hat. The redistribution of the wealth in this country is the most obvious, and stated by Obama himself, goal. I am certain that Obama and this bunch of Leftists have a New World Order in mind, and the only thing standing in the way is the Old World Order. We are no longer a Christian nation in our elected officials eyes. That is what we are witnessing right now, the taking down and dismantling of everything that was. What these leftists are exchanging US for I am certain they do not even yet realize. They can never imagine all the unintended consequences of their foolish fantasies. Their eyes are not opened yet. Just like the Health Care reform, we wont know what's in it until we pass it.

Black Jack or a Red Hot Poker In the Eye?

Witness the last few weeks of Politics as Usual. Some observations that come to my mind are how much it is all like being at the casino.

Pit boss Pelosi has surveyed the floor and likes what she sees. The Marks are all lined up waiting to get in the game and take their chance at the Government's Progressive Jackpot. The House has the favorable odds right now, but will it pay if they lose their bet? The gambling is on the long odds that the little guys can never ante up to get their big payout. Its a long shot that any one can win... but if all the stooges win at the same time it will break the bank for sure.

As I walk through the rows of one armed bandits I see people betting 15 credits on a dollar machine, and 300$ disappears in less than 5 minutes, wow! Max bet on the 5c. machine will take you down fast, too. The safe way to play is the one line on the penny machine or the 2c. machine, but that is the slow spiral down to zero, I don't think one in a thousand win that way.

Over at the card tables the real gamblers know how to manage their money and have a better shot at taking something home. When all else fails the House will always use the race card if they feel their position is not strong enough to win. Win lose or draw it is all pre determined that the house has the upper hand and will always outlast even the most determined effort to pile up the chips. They have the computers, the closed circuit TV, the psychological profiles and the house bank as their stronghold. Advertisements run all day with only a passing mention of help for the addict. They are forcing US to double down to break even and in the end even that is a victory that is unattainable and less satisfying if won. Even when we lose they bring the hammer down

Over at the roulette table 0 and 00 can clear out any of those systems that cover the board. As crappy as the odds are

But all things considered, if you want to keep your own money the best bet is to stay away from Pelosi's Casino, gambling, or 'something(anything) for nothing'.

When the Shoe is on the Other Foot

Liberals and Democrats, progressives, Liberal Democrats, and Leftists of all stripes seem to not understand the most basic fundamental of our Political system. It is that power does not always stay in the same hands and while majorities come and go there is a lower place to sink in our political spectrum. There is, or used to be, a golden rule an ethical imaginary line not crossed because what goes around will come full circle. A Karmic Boomerang in the most secular humanist sense imaginable.

We have seen last week how a Political goal of a hundred years was achieved by parliamentary chicanery and tactical subterfuge. Americans are now subject to the Government at our most basic and vulnerable point. I see why it would be a point of attack for the leftists. It is the umbrella we all fall under, the golden lasso surrounds US all, now.

Personally I may benefit from this new system before it becomes the albatross that permanently cements my place in the collective. I lost my personal health insurance due to a horrid economy. I don't want the government to give it back to me. I want to earn it back when I can afford it. The government cant even do its most basic jobs properly, like securing our border from invasion. Like spending within its own limits of scope responsibility and revenue. Why would anybody think they can do better with health care for all when Medicare and Medicaid are going bankrupt right now? Social Security and even our deteriorating infrastructure are evidence this Government needs to shrink, not grow.

I have seen a vision of our future here in America and it is still the darkest of the night just before the Dawn. I pray sanity returns to the voters this November and we begin to swing the pendulum back the other way, there is so little time and so little room for error anymore.

A Government this big will fail, it is failing.

Whither We go Yonder or; Wither, We going Under

Greece was an original Western Country in thought and in all political freedoms and enlightenments. It seems fitting to me that they would be the ones of the Western Democracies who must first pass back through the Rubicon.

So many countries are teetering at the abyss, one more nice economic meltdown and all hell breaks loose. California is lucky that Greece will lead the way so maybe the people here can see it and do something before we are right there, below the tide. It is comical that the safety net became the hammock for the Government workers and lazy citizens and now look at how they cry when they kill their own Golden Goose. It is happening right here in the once great state of California. The takers are complaining and pitching fits that more needs to be done, when it is all that largesse, bleeding heart compassion and overspending that has brought US to the brink of ruin. You can always find someone in dire straits, and if you make it policy to give a handout to every downtrodden, why, the number grows exponentially. There's a reason they say in Jellystone,"Don't feed the Bears". Throwing money at a problem seems to be the 'progressives' only course of action.

Government programs and more Government programs only beget more bureaucracy, red tape and bloated cumbersome hurdles for our economy. The answer is always raising taxes and spending more, especially if you want to destroy an economy, or just attempt to make a political party look bad. The Democrats tried that under Bush thinking with a little positive hype it could all be turned around on a dime for Obama, only now that one thin dime is all the change thats spared.

California came off a brilliant economic run of 10 years and the legislature never put a dime away for the end of the bull run. It was always spending more every year, always more. We fired a Governor because of out of control budgets and spending and he was replaced by a tough guy that caved in at the first bit of resistance. Government grew at a much faster rate than anything else during the roaring times from 2003 to 2007 except for the population of illegal immigrants flooding over our southern border and effectively invading our country.

In 2007 the federal Government had a budget that was only 170 billion$ deficit, I say only because now we may never see anything that good for 10 years or more, according to this administration. So why not just go back and adopt the 2007 budget straight out? Say sorry, there is no more money~ what programs were implemented between then and now that are indispensable? I would be happy to go back to my 2007 budget and make a go of things, I bet I could do it, easy.

Agree or Disagree

I have had people tell me I think too much about Obama and politics. Friends, acquaintances, and family have said I am even obsessed. I have known people to be obsessed with Presidents in the past, people who I had disagreements with on various issues(social and political). I felt they were obsessed and blaming Bush for many things out of his scope of reach. Maybe the same thing is happening right now with this President and myself?

I know full well that no President can take all the credit or all the blame for everything. That would be ridiculous to suggest. However, a President does set the mood. A President can either use Government to set up roadblocks or get out of the way. A President has enormous power to expand Government, intrude and shape markets by power of taxes, spending priorities, bills signed into law, threats of meddling, threats of raising taxes, threats of bureaucracy, and changing the law whenever they feel it necessary. Not to mention foreign policy and basic uncontrollable world events and how correct actions spell positive or negative ramifications for all of US. Evidence no President has that much power is the testament that Obama has not already done more damage. We can and will overcome these current setbacks, it is just a question of how far we will fall before we pick ourselves up and with common sense start over again.

I have never looked for a President to do any more or any less than what was in our Nations best interests. I also want my President to be flexible enough to assess conditions and enact the electorates desire as much as is good and as is logical given the fact we are over 350 million people. Obama was voted in for changes sake. He mistook what he was given as the benefit of the doubt as to his partisanship and ran on to remake the country. The problem was his opaque candidacy and vague and diaphanous record did not let voters understand where the man really stood on any issue that mattered to the country at large. Now he has to present himself and the issues all at once and there is a disconnect from the will of the people. People want to like the man, he was voted in on an affirmative action reservation. But we want what is good for the whole country, not just the same demonized special interests who are now, comically, Obamas bedfellows.

The economy is the engine that makes this country tick, without money we are about as likely to succeed as Mexico. Social programs are killing Western countries one by one and soon we will see all the evidence we need when Greece and Spain take down the EU. The state of California is a prime example of what too many promises and not enough real work getting done will lead to. Governor Schwarzenegger has failed almost as spectacularly as Obama will and I believe that is why he is coming out in defense of the misguided un~American policy the Democrat Party is hosting everywhere.

More than likely with all our tech and manufacturing going overseas this country will have to become agricultural in order to survive. Maybe then we will focus on our own energy and strengthen ourselves on ourselves. Who knows if the rest of the world can thrive while we take a break from policing the world and find ourselves again. I imagine that will be the final shakedown into the one world Government and I see it happening within 10 years. Obama is kind of our interim steward, a catalyst, who will prepare US for our descent into the sea of Nations.

Our planet Earth is so much more able to defend herself and re start on a new path I just laugh when Scientists try to claim that we can somehow alter the Planets destiny. Maybe we can alter our own destiny on this Planet but even then it would not be too long before all memory of our civilization were erased until some future generation of Archeologists dug up our ruins. Beauty and Tragedy

All that is so awesome about being a human being was summed up at the Opening ceremony at the Vancouver Olympics last night. The day began by illustrating the frailty and vulnerability even our champions must endure. By the time the Ceremony was complete we saw a most beautiful host in all their glory, the creative genius of artists and choreographers, a stunning show with history and balance. We saw the hopefulness around the world celebrating excellence and comradery.

We saw the human spirit and how beautiful it can be.

Beware of What You Say

I guess I should extend sympathies when I see someone trying to do the right thing, but still stepping in it. It is so difficult to even bring up the subject of weight and children anymore without offending someone's sensitivities or inviting disorder. Michelle Obama should really know better than to use her own children as an example, didn't the school grade fiasco teach the Obamas how its impossible to draw attention to the first kids without risking embarrassment to the children or to themselves? It is not wise at all to mention a young girls weight, even with the best intentions and full knowledge that there is no problem there.

Sensitivities are so thin and the pressure in this world is so tough, a complex is just waiting to be hatched even from the most benign of comments. I believe stressing the ability to create the bodies we want if we are willing to work hard for it is the key to mental peace. And eating right should be the goal of every person, no matter what state of physical condition they are in at the moment. And we need to teach the children everything is easier to control when they are small, but it can become impossible if nothing is done when we have our chance.

Call Me a Skeptic

We can't trust Iran as far as we can throw them, and it seems as if our Foreign Policy has become designed to eliminate our ability to throw anything anywhere, nowadays. I fear that the smokescreen is going up and Obama is going to react to the head fake and next week something will have changed, in a big way.

I know there is always a certain level of bluster emanating from The Islamic Republic, but not to take them at their words on their very real intentions is folly. The only thing we can count on is their incompetence, and that, as seen here by our own Government's budgetary game of 3 card Monte is as reassuring as a heart attack, and just as serious.

Iran is employing the typical Islamascist superstition of dates begetting motivation begetting attacks. For all their supposed spiritualist beliefs in Mohammad and Allah, and Mahdi they seem unbelievably numerological and materialistic and one dimensional when it comes to their violent dealings in the physical world.

I wonder sometimes if Iran isn't just the proxy that Russia or China is employing, a pawn with the nerve to get in the face of the US, and stir the pot. And now with Obama at the helm we are as likely to apologize for standing up for ourselves and the Free worlds vital interests as to topple this pathetic Dictatorship. At the worst, Iran can expect another ultimatum and date setback and therefore they will just keep moving forward in their attempt to get actionable nuclear weapons.

Even a broken clock is right 2x a day.

Incompetence is as incompetence does, evil that lies in wait and is undisturbed may eventually bear it's rotten fruit.

Mr. Populist is turning my stomach every time I hear him speak now. He says he lost connection with the American people, he says he knows what we are battling through out here, he blames special interests for the buzz saw effect he ran into last week. It is all so much campaign Obama. That is all we will ever get from this man. I am afraid I can see further into the ramifications of his policies that damage and destroy wealth and policies that could actually help improve our economy than he can. That scares the hell out of me. Because I don't know much, just a bit more than living in the real reality. And I realize I have been blessed with common sense and Obama seems like all he was blessed with is the ability to read a teleprompter and the twin powers of persuasion and deception.

The way he proclaims its not about him and his tone and inflection says that is all everything is about, is him. I almost get the feeling that after the big loss in Massachusetts he is in hyperdrive to complete his agenda as quickly as possible, and I fear that agenda is dismantling America in order to rebuild it the way his pea brain sees fit.

If the Republicans don't take the bait, Emperor Obama will complete his own populist argument and illustrate precisely who we must oppose.

November will come just in the nick of time, and 2012 is not too far after that.

Blue Monday, Red Tuesday?

Massachusetts is in an honorable position of restoring our Democracy today. I must say I am a little jealous. My vote in the tin state of California has been discounted for years. My voice of protest has been drowned by the caterwauling throng of pillagers and plunderers for most of my adult life. We have led the way down to the bottom here on the left side of the country while New England States have over on the right side. The special election today gives Mass. a chance to start the correction and maybe turn the Titanic away from the iceberg.

It seems fitting to me that the place where the Revolution began gets the chance to stave off the new ruination right on the threshold of our demise. A much needed system of checks and balances has gone unchecked for a whole year, 3 if you count the lame duck descent of George W. Bush. In Massachusetts, like California, it has gone on much longer. Americans cherish their freedom and liberty above all else and the Obamacrats have tried to over reach their mandate from day 1. Just like the Republicans and Bush did in 2004. But since the Republicans have never had a controlling majority we never saw the extent of their strategies. And in the end maybe thats for the best because Conservatism has not been run aground and discredited yet. Although the Republicans were hardly Conservative. I wonder if Democrats think Obama Pelosi Reid are hardly liberal?

I will watch the returns today and pray that sanity begins to creep back into our political structure starting with the will of the people, and also pray that Gods will be done in this, as in all things. Our nation used to have a divine blessing and now I am not so sure. But God never abandoned Israel, and since we are still and always will be a great force for good in the world, I have supreme faith that God will not abandon US now.

Voting is the lifeblood of Democracy, use it or lose it.

If this works for Martha our Nation is in more trouble than I ever imagined.

Obamas model is one of failure and impotence.

Martha also said the terrorists are gone, luckily Obamas eyes are opened up to the reality and I think that is why his hair is going grey so fast.

The world keeps turning toward sanity, and we continue to the left and into the ditch? but wait... there's still hope!

Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it? Obama did inherit what he had a hand in creating though.

Good News out there, the peace prize has payed dividends.

Not done yet, the Earth is shuddering and the widespread possibilities of disaster are not relegated to Haiti alone.

And why aren't the Haitians being treated at the greatest Medical paradise in the world? Their next door neighbors? That makes sense.

The tragedy happening right now in Haiti has so many layers to unravel that nothing could possibly explain how or why this happened, right now. Suffice to say there is a divine lesson here, God rains on the just and the unjust. There is a political element, sometimes we humans have to lie down in the bed we have made. There is a compassion and desire from most every human to do anything we can to help a fellow human being in need. All in all, prayer on any level and any help at all will save lives.

Nothing else matters.

And what would it take for Democrats to absolve the type of liberalism that dehumanizes?

Michael Steele had my support until he started chasing his tail around in circles. This is truly self defeating and all the evidence I need to prove why being an independent is the smartest move any voter can make.

Harry Reid and all the hullabaloo around his race based remarks proves the left side of the aisle only has subservience in mind for, and condescension toward those they profess to champion. When even the one demeaned gives a pass for political expedience, what more is left to say, but...

Madam Senator... The Door>>

One of the first steps in the rebuilding of the once great State of California will be to remove a blight and a mistake made back in 1992. A direction that has paralleled the downward spiral this State has chosen as it's pathway to lead our Nation.

I am not sure in whom to put my hope to disengage this obligatory trough feeding, influence peddling, demagogue, but Carly Fiorina seems to have the real world credentials and personal ability to stand and fight an entrenched heavyweight. Barbara Boxer has never once even pretended to represent people like me and to have been in office for the last 18 years with so little to show for it but unapologetic partisan hackery speaks volumes about what we can expect from another term gifted to such an airhead.

If the Senatorship has to go to women from now on lets try a conservative woman for once and see what kind of representation we get. I am certain there will be at least some pro business policy with Carly. We always seem to look at liberal women when espousing gender politics. California really cannot do worse than Feinstein and Boxer, so lets try to start fixing some of the systemic credibility deficit on the Democrat pretenders and clarify perceptions about Conservative women. Lets begin to put this State back on the track to lead in the US and in the World, we have so much that can be good and to see it squandered like it has for so long is the most disappointing thing I can think of that I have seen happen right in front of my own eyes.

Shame on Shwarzy

Arnold Schwarzenegger has become a caricature of himself and what he stood for when he upended Gray Davis in a special election oh so many(7) years ago. A fiddle played by the Democrats for years, the Governator is like a Stradivarius for Tchaikovsky. As reactionary and unimaginative as the best the Liberals can offer, Shwarzenegger didn't slow down the descent of this state at all. He gave up at his first defeat and never was able to educate the general and often idiotic electorate where their penchant for more Government programs was leading this once great State.

The Governor barely alludes to the perennial budget stalemates that are as expected and accepted as trading productive farmland for a tiny fish. He wants the Federal money to bail California out but failed to mention how state workers are going to court to rescind their furlough days, thereby insuring either lost jobs or the eventual bankruptcy of this state, or more likely, both. Pensions, I guess, will be reworked after the state goes officially bankrupt. Its not just the state workers that are doing this, it is involved in every facet of state spending, the takers are killing the golden goose. And the Governor seeks to tie the prison system to the higher education system somehow in dollars spent? Maybe, and on this I am certain, there is tremendous waste in both systems. But there is no real and proven correlation, so why amend the state constitution? Hog tie us with another layer of red tape?

Regulation was hardly addressed when jobs were referenced, and the green jobs farce and Obamaesque hope and change rhetoric give clues the Governor is not really serious about making this state somewhere a person can raise a family and operate a business with little Government intrusion. Immigration has become only a tool to leverage more money out of Washington now, back when there was a chance to defend our border and save some American jobs political correctness trumped law and order, and the Hispanic vote was the holy grail both Republicans and Democrats sold the state out for.

Arnold has proven that he is truly his wifes husband, and more a Kennedy than a Reagan. Taxation without representation is what California Conservatives are used to and Arnold definitely delivered.

There is an old saying that if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it is a duck. How many years now has Shwarzenegger been a lame duck? Apparently this is his last year as our Governor and it is so unfortunate for me to have to say, good riddance.

When Will The Luck Run Out?

Barack Obama has been the political equivalent of Midas in his ascendency to the highest political office in the world. Every time a fortunate occurrence must happen to save his bacon he gets the chance and the option.

Obama somehow got into Harvard Law School with unknown grades and modest means. He even went to exclusive private schools as a youngster where his grades and who paid have been carefully hidden. The only editor of the Harvard Law review who never published a paper of his own. Everywhere he has gone he has defied the odds that would normally sink the average performer in spite of the affirmative action and that charismatic smile.

Barack Obama began his political career by disqualifying his State Senate opponent, then, when he moved on to National Politics, it was the leaked sealed divorce records of his Democrat primary contender and his Republican counterpart in the general election. The divorce record of Jack Ryan begat the replacement by the hapless and incendiary Alan Keyes, imported from Maryland to the ultimate alienation and embarrassment of Illinois Republicans.

Triple 7's to Obama.

When John McCain had Obama down in the polls just a few months prior to the 2008 election suddenly the financial crisis hit and the economy grinded to a near halt. Amazingly the media then began touting polls and inflaming passions that insinuated the American public trusted Obama and the Democrat Party more to repair the economy and return prosperity to the land. ??!??

Obama got the nod and the general public got to relearn what the Democrat Party has in mind for the economy and the engine of wealth. Again, timing was Obamas best asset.

Now we start 2010 with Iran on the verge of nuclear capability and terrorists attempting to perform terrorist acts wherever and whenever possible. Two challenges that Obama can actually use to gain credibility and stature with his opposition and his sane base. Iran is teetering on the brink of revolution and with minimalistic effort a regime change may be possible. Removing the Mullahs could remove the threat of Nuclear proliferation and conflict with Israel.

And in regards to the domestic threats we have seen recently with the Christmas Day underwear bomber and by Major Hasan at Fort Hood, just acknowledging them as terrrorists and basic countermeasures could bring instant credibility. The only way the Administration stopped the underwear bomber was with their hope, and the flying dutchman. It was blind luck, operator ineptitude and/or Divine providence that saved those 288 souls over Detroit, not Obamas treatment of enemy combatants with constitutional protections. Changing the definitions of perpetrators and their actions and trying them in civilian courts is not a policy of deterrence, it's an invitation to strike the paper tiger.

Obama is once again provided a glorious opportunity to shine and while I have little faith in him to actually do the right thing, I am heartened by his penchant for the fortuitous chance that eventually may even benefit US serendipitously.

We Still Live in a Free Country

For a little while longer anyway,

at the rate we are giving away our freedom and at the rate the Government is angling US toward the one World Government I give US about 10 years. At this pace in another 50 years there won't be anyone left alive who remembers what freedom is really like. Its so sad and even difficult to teach the kids these basic facts. They are caught up with the celebrities and the ipods and video games and hardly seem to care, and as long as their needs are met how can they even know?

It is so hard to teach these kinds of lessons when the solution may be more unsavory than the problem, right now. But someday, when too much water has gone under the bridge only the greatest upheaval will bring things back to how they should be, in a free country.

2009 had moments as precious as any in my memory, and quite a lot I will be happy to forget. But the refining trials will certainly make me stronger in the long run, and as always there is so much to be thankful for.

The System Worked?

I am finding the give and take that is going on in regards to the Administrations explanations of Terrorists boarding planes with explosives tiring and condescending to say the least. The backpedaling is in full gear now but still no one is touching on the very thing that can stop this nonsense in its tracks, and that is PROFILING. Who is attempting to do US harm? Who could even benefit from some of these crazies being profiled?

Instead we will see little old ladies and small babies being frisked and wanded and a guy with a turban and a dirty night shirt sniggering to himself.

P.s. I am not against Muslims per se but they too will be benefitted by the profiling and elimination of the radical element of their faith. Islam needs a reformation asap and pretending that we are not at odds with radical Islamascists will seal the death of the West.

Sanctions for the "Holy" Islamic Republic?

Obama will put his money where his mouth isn't and get tough on Iran(ha!). There is a momentous tide shifting and our President has already made the decision to treat with the Dictators. I am sure it's just code for something. Obamas first year legacy is littered with opportunities squandered to solidify support from the center and the right with gestures as slight as verbal support and showing fortitude over cya. I knew what we had early on and Obama is not failing to reinforce my low opinion of himself.

Cowardice is as Coward does. In the end Iran will have the bomb and the Middle East will be an unsolvable mess except for the War Obama is ensuring. He has been given this gift to change the dynamic in Iran and is instead siding with radical Islam, go figure.

I wonder if Obama is earning his peace prize right now?

Usurpation of Our Nation

Step by step Obama and company are whittling away at our National sovereignty and our individual freedoms. It is as though there is a distinct plan to complete this task in as short order as possible, with the door closing and the 2010 election standing in the way of this unchecked power grab.

When I first heard about the Interpol amendment it caused just a slight blip on my radar screen. Not ever dreaming that even Obama would cede our sovereignty in such a direct and solitary manner. Who does this man think he is? He has not even come up with a reason for such a concession as of yet. When the leftists were howling about George W. Bush and the Patriot act opening up violations to our civil liberties do they think it better to give all that power to a foreign entity? At the least the Patriot act could be rescinded or phased out, but this amendment our Dear leader has put into law is going beyond Congress and beyond the Supreme Court, even beyond the Executive as it stands as written.

Executive Order 12425 was written by Ronald Reagan to give interpol diplomatic immunity, but only to a degree that our own Police and Constitution enjoyed. Now Obama has seen fit to take away a few sentences and put Interpol above the Law and Constitution. It is amazing to me and I don't even want to imagine the nefarious implications that this sets into motion. Where are the checks and balances to this man? Where are the Libertarians? Where is the news media? Is everybody so focused on that Lion Cheetah Tiger? Or is the new shoe/ leg bomber the latest distraction? Or another Obama trip to Hawaii? The Pope getting knocked down will take our eyes off the ball for a few minutes, coupled with a big snow storm right in the middle of Global Warming, add in a last minute Health Care take over deal and there you have it. All the cover a rascal needs to undermine just about as much Sovereign structure as is needed, and to accomplish exactly what? Try to put our military and Bush and Cheney on trial for War crimes some day? I am beginning to see that may be what this is all about. This President is becoming every day closer and closer to igniting the beginning stages of a Civil War, and to think he campaigned on being able to heal the divisions in this Nation, I only see him driving wedges in every little crack and fissure.

It is comical that the very things the Leftists are doing right now are the things they always accused and imagined were going on in their opposition. And Obama is setting the very precedent to criminalize his own actions. The only way out of this for Him could be to become permanent ruler.

A Sign of the Times

Sometimes we get a signal from above and it lets us all know we are headed in the right direction, or wrong , depending on the outcome. An omen can come in a personal relationship or in International Worldwide Colloquy. The premonition can be heeded or ignored and the consequences could be positive, minimal or terminal.

When I receive such directive I just thank the good Lord he cares enough to correct me and guide me.

Russia claimed they were running a test of an intercontinental ballistic missile when it malfunctioned. I wonder why they were testing a missile at the same time President Obama was accepting his Nobel Peace Prize? And in another interesting coincidence the super collider was recently restarted and the Scientists are back to attempting to recreate a big bang! I wonder if the theory of Space aliens watching over us here on Earth is a possibility, and perhaps they are concerned we will soon obtain the ability to annihilate all living things in their little aquarium.
