Well yesterday we heard that Sarah Palin quit her Governorship, possibly to run for President in 2012? I think its a huge mistake, we needed her to continue to demonstrate how Conservatism works and quitting while you are ahead is not a good character trait. And knowing someone in Alaska, they need a good strong leader there anyway. Winners never quit and quitters never win.
Kim Jong Il will give Obama and his weakling Foreign policy fits as his every move is countering Obamas pacifism and tacit deferences. Joe Biden hit the nail on the head when he said Obama will get tested and Americans will be disappointed in his amateur ability to lead in this arena. I think even Biden had no idea how many fissures would open up and distract the rookie. Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Honduras, N. Korea, and our southern Border to name the hottest spots. This move by the North Korean dictator has been telegraphed for at least a week, wonder what our response will be when it's a surprise move?
Tack on the economy, Cap and trade, health care, and Government bailouts and I see Obama begging Colin Powell to take over in 3 more years. Only big Brother Powell is now closing the barn door after the horses are out. And in an ironic and now popular refrain Powell changes the subject by invoking Michael Jackson, how much of this have we already seen and how much more cover will they need?
Soon we will be celebrating another type of Independence, that of dependence on our own Government. They will be buried by this administration under debt and taking on every aspect of this Nation to the point of bewildered overloaded mismanaged fatigue. The incompetence will result in morass on the grandest scale this country has ever seen.

I Still Love My Country
Even though this great nation is being dismantled and fed to the dogs I still have to love it. It is my home, even though I have been feeling for years like I am being abandoned. It all started in 2006, maybe even earlier. Like right after the 2004 elections. That is when the Republican party took off the mask they had donned to trick conservative Americans into voting for them. I remember hearing talk of relegating liberalism to the ash heap and positioning Republicans for years of victories at the polls. But it was the feigning of conservative principles not the Republican Party that won elections in 2000 2002 and 2004. When it became obvious Republicans were only there to further their own interests the conservative voters abandoned the GOP or just gave up on politics altogether. That gave US the 2006 and 2008 corrections and unfortunately we have gone from bad to the worst.
Throughout the Bush Presidnecy I heard the liberals saying this wasn't their country anymore, they could not stand behind this terrible President and how everything Bush was doing was destroying the country they knew and loved. Well, now I know fully what they meant. In their minds, yes tiny and without much logic or cognitive reasoning, they blamed every conceivable wrong on the US government. From hurricanes to reactions to attacks by enemies to economic ups and downs to a mood set up by a hateful national media. The liberals were the useful idiots of the left who tore their garments and wailed about fascist dictatorship and government intrusions.
Isn't it amazing how everything has gone 180 degrees opposite of where we were just 2 years ago? Now the lefties are actually trying to break this nation down so they can remake it their way. They won't let a good crisis go by without gaining maximum political benefit. The tilt is way too far to the left and now the Democrats who were just gloating about doing away with conservatism altogether are feeling pressure to perform some feat of political success or they too will get tossed in the next election. Unemployment is almost at 10% and nobody is taking the Obama administration to task in the media. GDP is negative for the 3rd consecutive quarter and it wont be long before the Obama administration has to answer for that. After all weren't we told in the campaign that Americans trusted the Democrats to run the economy more than they trusted the Republicans? And the Democrats have owned the house and the Senate for 2 and a half years now! Even Obama helped to give himself what he has "inherited" via his very voting record. And he knew it was bad, he said as much. He also promised US that he was the one to 'fix' it. Well we got change all right, but nothing is fixed, unless its who's getting the stimulus money. I am certain that is payoff to Obama supporters, thats why there is nothing stimulating the economy.
I guess that I cant sound like the sour grapes leftists who wanted to get the President so bad they would let their country go too. I want this nation to succeed. But so help me if there continues to be such a divide on which path moves our country forward I won't feel that secession or civil war are the worst things we could face.

Toxic Life
Life is what we make it and no one is allowed to make excuses in the end. Theres always a chance to make things right, it just has to be what is desired above all else. I hear about a poor little rich boy who had everything and still demolished his temple with drugs and excess and just consumed until he was consumed by himself. I have pity yes, but also, I have contempt. Maybe a lot was given by this individual to help others, but obviously there was still enough there to drown in the excesses. That being the case, then more most certainly was required of him. All of his family is left trying to find someone to blame. And with so many of his admirers straining to deify him I am afraid a lesson will be missed here about personal responsibility and that materialism will never satisfy a person who has a God sized hole in their life.
Everywhere I look I see things that make me smile and right beside that is something that makes me want to cry. Our world is fallen and that is all we need to know as to why we can imagine the perfect scenario but bringing it into being is not as easy as we would like to imagine. Life is an obstacle course that's changing as we ourselves change. The effort must be constant and focused, and we must believe that in what we desire is also in line with God's will. Easier said than done, and I am sure that a big shot like Michael Jackson had an even tougher challenge than I will ever face. To whom much is given much is required, and I think that goes for Countries, religions, individuals, communities, and families. No one is exempt. Everyone has to balance their desire of what they want with what is really necessary, what is thought as best for themselves and their family and what is best when all unintended/unexpected consequences have played out. We will never really know which way is the most right way when we live with the way we have chosen. We live with the reality, everything else is conjecture.

So Much on His Plate
President Obama is nothing if he is not ambitious. Yet how is he accomplishing his directives?There is absolute distortion of facts, there is strong arming, there is no hesitating to delegate to congresssional hacks, really there is nothing short of the south side tactics we were warned would accompany the front man wearing the empty suit.
He is spending everyone elses money like it never has to be paid back, making decisions on all our futures in regard to our health care system, telling US how the climate will be changing the way he thinks it will change. He is starting to turn the economy into a top down controlled AMC Gremlin, which is where the Government Motor Corporation is heading, too. He is almost assuming the role of the Lord messiah that he is not even really discouraging as some of his sycophant press adulattes infer. He apologizes for our past while not 'meddling', when he can encourage freedom seekers in a war torn region to not accept their tyrannical dictators chicanery. Threats are cropping up and it is the devious that Obama is courting as he lets our allies wait on his call. And waiting he will do to see which sides win and then he will figure out whom to support.
How long, and which one of these rogues will be the one Lord Obama stumbles upon as predicted by Smokin' Joe Biden? North Korea, Iran, Russia, Venezuela, Mexico, Somalia, the Palestinian Statehood, or Pakistan? I know a little on reading tea leaves and reading world events, and it seems all of Mr. Obamas pots will be boiling at the same time. I know there is a tremendous difficulty going from juggling 3 balls to 4, I wonder how many problems a brand new President can hope to humor before they all crash to the ground? We are not even into 6 months of this nihilistic new brand of Leftward Politics and already cracks are forming around Obamas feet.

American Idolatry
I Think President Obama has a vision for American Foreign Policy that is vastly different than anything anybody envisioned when they were sold O's hope and change campaign rhetoric. We were told that this new President has the twin gifts of Empathy and Universal vision, to go along with the rhetorical skills that surpass any and all of his former Presidents. He would single handedly make the world love US more. Well, opportunity is knocking and Obama is, at best, underwhelming.
Parts of Europe and India have thrown off the chains of socialism and are willing to give more freedom another chance. Israel and America have both become states that are intent on apologizing for how they fought for and maintain their survival. Iran has a huge portion of their population that has watched Iraq 's metamorphosis and wants freedom too. Pakistan and Afghanistan would certainly acknowledge and possibly follow if the status quo werent all that Obama will stand for. Lebanon has made themselves clear which way they would like to go. Obama seems to be more interested in getting along with regimes that are totalitarian and despotic than trying to lead with a clear vision and take a chance or two. I guess his political capital will be best spent trying to undo and redo America in his own image. Obama has surveyed situation after situation and decided not to "meddle". As if offering the people who will fight and die for freedom a bit of encouragement and 'hope' is somehow overstepping the original charter of these United States of America. North Korea and China will be watching everything Obama does with Iran and re calculate their next moves. In this multi-dimensional real world chess match, which has only just begun, it seems President Obama is playing for a draw. He can still vote present it seems.
Plenty of people here in America have fallen under a spell in which they no longer assess the Presidnts motives with any discrimination. Where for 8 long years there was a constant drumbeat of skepticism and suspicion, we now have journalists thrilled by the President and thinking he is like God. A steady supply of subversive behaviour has turned into a blind eye and the relinquishing of concern that a person at the top may not have all Americans best interests at heart. I myself was a supporter of former President Bush, yet I was able to find plenty of fault and concern with quite a few of his policies. From the border, to spending, to some questionable appointments, I was hardly unanimously in agreement with President George W. Bush. Now Obamas people and the National press are letting Obama do whatever he wants, without the slightest hint of where they will draw the line. And all the while Obama has yet to let even his most ardent supporters know who he really is. So there will be an inevitable lag when push comes to shove and the real Barack Hussein Obama is unmasked. The power grab will continue until some of the kool aid drinkers are awakened to the loss of something even they hold dear, freedom.

Say Anything, Do What You Want To
The stimulus plan that congress approved is supposed to save or create 600,000 jobs by the end of the summer. At the rate jobs are disappearing, that will be a little over a months worth. Sounds like one step forward as we take 3 back to me. But then again, President Obama can say whatever he wants and the state run media reports it as gospel truth. How do we ever callibrate how many jobs have actually been lost to date, the numbers say 1.6 million since the stimulus bill was signed. But how about the self employed who cannot collect unemployment? How about the illegal aliens that are in all facets of our economy? How about families with 2 incomes who now rely on one?
Jobs saved is a complete snow job, because that number is arbitrary, too. I wonder if one of my jobs has been saved by the stimulus. I have a customer who works for the Department of Agriculture, she has not been terminated. Technically, because she still has an income from the Federal Government, she can afford for me to redo her home. Therefore, I have a job thats been saved by the Government? Sounds like crazy calculus to me, but I bet thats exactly how things are justified in Obamaworld.
All this Obama worship is driving me mad, I would like to see some of his promises be analyzed and held to account by the National Media. The stimulus bill will have no impact on the economy, because by the time any spending actually happens we will be into our recovery. The recovery will then be stunted by the inflation that comes with massive Govt. borrowing. Will our media opine on that? I think not. Jobs cannot be saved by the Government if the Government controls the economic growth, jobs can only be shuffled and propped up. Eventually the private sector has to lead the way out of our malaise, but with the govt. growing, the small businesses are being squashed flat. I just wonder exactly when Obama gets to take all credit for his policies, the good and the bad. Will it be only when there is success that can be attributed rightly or wrongly, or is there a definite date... say 1 year, or 3 years. I am certain the Bush did it mantra still has a lot of use to shield the President from any negative consequences, most likely until after the 2010 election. And that is all Obama will need to complete the re-shaping of America into his own image.

We Go Left as the World Turns Right?
Revisionists beware, you better start working double time. World events are distorting the narrative that the US was out of touch during the Bush years and needs to be restored into the world community now. Not to worry that we have hired the greatest community organizer of all time, at least since Jesus walked the Earth. Even as more countries move right we are sagging to the left, and I suppose we have to go a certain distance before we see that it is the wrong way and turn around, again!
Sometimes we lead and sometimes we follow, right now we are way behind and not learning lessons that countries who tried and failed socialism are correcting and moving toward freedom. No one ideology has a lock on moral superiority, righties and lefties have proven all humans are fallible. We just expct the media to be unbiased in their reporting so honest assessments can be weighed and all things taken into account. We will know what is right by the fruit it bears and now we see all the ways we have strayed. But shading truths and hidden agendas muddy the waters until no one can see a thing.
The greatest con ever put on our country has given US a President who wasnt even truly fit for the Senate. Every voter had better take their responsibilities in 2010 and 2012 as seriously as the heart attack that this country is headed toward. President Barack Hussein Obama is throwing the constitution out with yesterdays newsprint. Unelected, unaccountable, unconfirmed individuals have a seat at the policy table of the United States of America. Advising the Czar in chief on grave matters like the economy, national security and the Government itself. Another layer of bureaucracy on an already bloated system. What is happening to our country and why doesnt anybody care? The title of Czar should creep everyone out, it has been used here for many years, but it is only now that the use of these "advisors" is spiraling out of control right along with the budget and the size of the Government. Conversely our freedoms are plummeting along with their rise.
Just the word Czar connotes a communist or totalitarian style of Governance that will inevitably lead to oppression. Why are the people of this country waltzing down this path led by this pied piper? This consumate snake oil salesman? All the signs are pointing downward as all praise is heaped upon the man of little accomplishment.
I hope he gets his sea legs quickly, as it seems he is having a great time being King of America, but the world won't wait long for this saviour.
I hope our country is strong enough to weather this. Whatever doesn't kill US will make US stronger? Is that what BHO is, our vaccine?

Unelected, unaccountable, unconfirmed individuals have a seat at the policy table of the United States of America. Advising the Czar in chief on grave matters like the economy, national security and the Government itself. Another layer of bureaucracy on an already bloated system. What is happening to our country and why doesnt anybody care? The title of Czar should creep everyone out, it has been used here for many years, but it is only now that the use of these "advisors" is spiraling out of control right along with the budget and the size of the Government. Conversely our freedoms are plummeting along with their rise.
Just the word Czar connotes a communist or totalitarian style of Governance that will inevitably lead to oppression. Why are the people of this country waltzing down this path led by this pied piper? This consumate snake oil salesman? All the signs are pointing downward as all praise is heaped upon the man of little accomplishment.
I hope he gets his sea legs quickly, as it seems he is having a great time being King of America, but the world won't wait long for this saviour.
I hope our country is strong enough to weather this. Whatever doesn't kill US will make US stronger? Is that what BHO is, our vaccine?

What will Happen AFTER oBAMA ?
Will we be A OK?
Joe Bama or O'Biden will not be comparable to Barack Obama in his ability to continue these deceits, with or without any silver tongue. Eventually, maybe as long as 7 and a half years hence, we will have a new President. Unless Obama employs Hugo Chavez tactics. And, there will be no Joe Biden following up, slow Joe will be lucky to be on the ticket in 2012. So where does that leave our country? We are letting our dear leader shred our constitution, ironically, his supporters accused his predecessor of the same. But now look what we have, its actually happening and the left is happy about it, or are they? Maybe, until the next Republican wins the office.
The hipocrisy is astounding and enlightening to behold. It has been pointed out that every pledge Obama makes we get an opposite conclusion. He doesn't want to take over the car companies, we have Government Motor Co. now. Doesn't want to nationalize the banks and now we have the government dictating the pay of financial workers. Want to close Gitmo but cannot, wants to end the war but realizes we need to finish the victory first or it will be his defeat. Says we will have free choice on healthcare as we go into single payer system. Says Iran will not get the bomb as his "diplomacy" buys them the time needed to perfect the missile technology and the uranium enrichment, time they need. Obama also says he wants Israel to survive as he pushes them to give up strategic defensible territories, and share their land with a neighbor committed to their destruction.
At least we can begin to gauge who Obama is and where he wishes to take US by a reverse psychology. The pattern will inevitably make everything clear to anyone wishing to take the time to check it out. Some in this country will not be, are not being, taken by surprise.

You Can't Have Your Cake and Eat It Too
The State of California is at the brink of the precipice and we get to make a decision. Do we obligate ourselves to higher taxes and not even completely solving our problem, or do we vote down the Politicians buck passing gimmick and make them do their jobs, which will inevitably send the State hurtling toward insolvency? I have heard all the arguments, seen all the hyperventilating ($27 million from unions and political action committees, only $3 million trying to defeat these propositions)and I am in the solid majority on this one, to vote down all new spending propositions. All the money from the boomtimes didn't help things for the tax and spenders, perhaps being broke may bring fiscal sanity back into vogue.
Even when this state, which is the 9th largest economy in the world, was booming we could not balance our budgets year after year. But we kept voting in liberal politicians and voting in generous new social programs. The inevitable happened and the housing and financial bubbles burst, and this once prosperous State is now unable to meet all of its obligations. I have heard that we have spending in place by law that requires funding of programs and schools even if there is a bad year or two and no means to keep funding the mandated growth in these programs. This funding, which is mandated by law cannot be cut, right? That is the argument as to why we will have to cut law enforcement, firemen, schools and let criminals out of jails. All programs everybody agrees are necessary, but programs the politicians can scare us into the corner by threatening with cuts. Well, we voted to deny taxpayer funded services to illegal aliens and the courts threw that one out. We have voted to keep marriage between 1 man and 1 woman (twice!)and the courts are trying to throw that one out(again!) too. Some laws ordained by the people, I guess, are more easily taken from the people than other laws the courts want to see saved, or actually judicially legislated into existence.
The spending has to come to a stop and I have heard California has few options. One is bankruptcy which to me makes the most sense, we wont go anywhere and maybe we can rethink all the ridiculous unfunded mandates. People within and without this state will have to learn how we can live within our means and taxing our way to prosperity means everyone who can leave will. Another option is for Governor Schwarzenegger to go hat in hand to his bud Obama and beg his holiness to save this too big to fail state. The option we really cannot afford is to pass measures that will raise our taxes in a recession and reward irresponsible politicians who have bought votes by spending us into this hole. That option does not even provide a finishing solution, just time to figure out new taxes and fees. We need to get a handle on this spending problem, as goes California so goes the US.
Maybe California can lead the way in this country to fiscal sanity.

The Answer My Friend Is Twisting In the Wind
Will the Press smell the blood in the water and come gunning for San Fran Nan? I kinda doubt it, but they have shown a little more persistence than I ever gave them the credit for. I almost feel sorry for her, watching her dig deeper and deeper as she tries to lie her way through this contradiction. But I do not, knowing she is the cheapest and lowest form of political hack our country may have ever produced. The zest and zeal she has shown to try and lay snares and cast nets around her political opposition is the karma that will roast her on the spit. Playing politics with National security reeks to high heaven and her piles of lies are scattered all around her now, so she really has nowhere to step, but in it.
I heard references of how Nancy Pelosi is unworthy to even try lying on the National stage, following in the footsteps of a Barack Obama or a Bill Clinton. Two of the most masterful prevaricators to ever look US in the eye and unashamedly deceive without showing a shred of conscience or hesitation. I could even put George W. Bush in that list, just to be fair to the lefties, but the lies they hold fast to are not the ones I would choose to hold him accountable for. If it was "Lying" that kept US safe in the weeks and months after 9/11/2001, so be it, that was an unprecedented time in our Nations history, and we cant look at things from the vantage of having lots of victories against that enemy and have them on their heels, now. Pelosi is so obviously lawyering and weaseling her way through this even Jon Stewart cannot help himself but weigh in against her folly. And leftist comedians are the Democrat Party's last line of defense. Nancy Pelosi will not come through this as speaker of the house, it will be interesting to see who she implicates as she becomes more and more desperate to hold on to her royalty.
I think it is a perfect circle that as the Democrats were trying to criminalize the policies of the former administration it could possibly bite them on their rears. Obama is blowing up Pakistanis without reading them their Miranda rights. Guantanamo will prove impossible for Obama to close and interrogations will continue to be performed. The CIA is Obamas now and yet they work for the entire electorate. Afghanistan won't go away without a clear cut victory and Obama will own defeat there as well. Be careful what you wish for you just might get it? Someone needs to tell the far left wing of the Democrat Party they are boxing in 'their' President.
The liberal mindset often seems to be to act on emotions and never contemplate all the unintended consequences that can and do always present obstacles thanks to free will and our human condition. The only way to get everybody on board with their brand of utopia is to force US there. And that is the surest way to get resistence.

Surprise Surprise
Medicare and Social Security are going bankrupt? Even quicker than anyone thought? Well that is not news to anyone that pays attention to what is going on in the country. But educating the masses is about an impossible task for anyone on the conservative side. Most Americans, even the grossly uninformed, know there is little chance we will get anything from social security, at least not in the current, promised form that we get a notice about every year a month before our birthdays. I, for one, am all for moving back the retirement age. People are just living longer and we should not continue to go by the old baseline, when people retired at 62 and were dead before 70. The President is butting into private sector failures and has to get on with the big Government failures he was hired to work on. I guess the news on Social Security and Medicare is coming now to dovetail to the great Medical system jam down coming our way.
Congress is vowing to fix the medical system next, and that spells trouble. I can only imagine how that boondoggle will get paid for, rationed care? perhaps, skyrocketing taxes? maybe, cutting doctors pay? a likely scenario. None of those options seem to work for the American economy that is already in a tailspin. Any more drag will be like the ill fated pilot that brought the nose up as the air speed was slowing, disaster. As a citizen without any medical insurance, I am keenly aware of the personal disaster that awaits me if I cannot procure insurance coverage. I don't see why there cannot be two seperate levels of care and coverage. One level for people like me who just don't want to die or go bankrupt trying to stay alive and another level for people who can afford more. Government systems seem to be all or nothing, one size fits all, and I think that is where they all go wrong. Why can't the government train doctors and use those doctors nurses and support staff for their hospitals and clinics, paid for by their insurance program? One reason may be that it cannot be done overnight and that would deny any politician a "victory". All I know is nothing will happen right if politics become the endgame of the whole situation, this has to be about maintaining and furthering the best healthcare system in the world.
Maybe that could be our new national product, healthcare to the world, come to America and be healed, all the best medical practioners in the world can relocate here, something we can rebuild our economy on...

National Prayer Day
On the radio today I got to hear an old prayer by Franklin Delano Roosevelt that he read to the Nation, I think it was right before DDay. It was an awesome invocation and call to the nation to remember how we got there and why we were blessed, and really just to never forget that God was guiding our Nation always. Beautiful words and a spirit that is now so far removed from our country it is just sad and indicative of why we are in the mess we are in, in so many ways. All recent Presidents have taken the opportunity on this day to lead by example, to put approval upon our Nations spiritual livelihood from the top down, making it clear we want to stay a country that God is moving in and using US to do good in the world. I cannot imagine a President Barack Hussein Obama having the nerve to make a prayer like this to the country, under any circumsances, ever! And that is the greatest tragedy of all.
Well today I heard that Barack H. Obama decided to forego anything official from the white house to honour this day. To me it is shameful and for him to do his prayers on a National prayer day in "private" just smacks of his way of voting present and playing both sides against the middle. It is very frustrating knowing our "leader" is so afraid to ever stand up and be counted, what is he waiting for, the 2012 election cycle? People are figuring him out, in spite of the fact that he keeps his cards so close to his vest. Even not deciding is making a choice. Obama thinks he can acknowledge without acting, stay above the mere human tendency to live within the confines like everyone else. Being a disciple of Jeremiah Wright has caused him to be cut off from 9/10ths of all Christians in this country. All these Democrat anti religious intolerants will have Obama denying God in the end. Its too bad he can't say what he really feels, he has to know, no matter what, he is going to get some grief, so stand for God and take the grief that you know you are on the side that's right. But if you live by the special interest groups you can die by them too.
Like a thousand tiny cuts. And I have to wonder, who all is he trying not to offend?

PANDEMIC
H1N1 swine flu virus is something we have to concern ourselves with and we as a Nation should make some tough decisions. Closing borders, schools, and gatherings wont stop the spread of the disease, just slow it down enough to get a handle on it and create a vaccine for worst case scenarios. Not that this is something we have to do right away, but we should be thinking of what it would take. And just how to do that without causing widespread panic and more undue hardship to our brittle economic recovery in its infancy? We need leadership, now more than ever. We need decision making from the top down. We don't need political gamesmanship and chess matches. We need our president to think with a clear head about what is good for our whole country, not what will gain his party better majorities or more power.
It grieves me and scares me that is exactly what is being discussed in the closed offices and meetings of the President and his administration. I know that they had better be careful or the crisis they want to herd US by or the calamity they would engineer to save US from could turn around and bite them on their rear. Our founding fathers put their prayers and their own lives on the line to create this country and the checks and balances they put in place will give our country the best chance to survive anything, even an underqualified, out of his league, poseur. Obama cannot vote present any longer, it seems as if the crises coming his way are magnifying because he is failing to step up, so each incident will be more demanding of real leadership until he begins to actually lead or crumples into Rahm Emmanuel's tender, reassuring embrace.

Betrayed By Traitors
Senator Arlen Specter (D/R/D Pennsylvania)was never a conservative in my eyes anyway. Although he held some conservative positions in the past I now wonder if it was all a political calculation. Considering that he has switched parties in the past I guess we should not be surprised and I wonder if his new party will be able to trust him. How many more of his positions will he have to flip on to keep his new base of support happy? The idea of a politician that will change parties just because he faces a tough primary contest is the worst type of craven, spineless, heartless worm I can think of. Now Arlen did a decent job on helping get some Conservative Judges to the bench, defended our country without wavering, and did a good job whenever he put his effort into his task. But, his stance on life always made me queesy and supporting the spending bills here recently shows he is no conservative at all. I figure joining forces with Barack Obama will be something he should have no problem doing as they are both cut from the same cloth. That of someone willing to sell out their country for their own ambitions.
Obama says he sees no reason yet to close the border with Mexico, that is just closing the barn door after the horses are gone... EXCUSE ME?!? But Mexico is shutting down their own country right now, what more reason could we need? I know Specter and Obama want open borders and all the unskilled welfare cases they can get, but do they want our hospitals to be overrun with illegal migrant sick people? The answer is probably yes, because they want to never let a crisis go by without extracting every ounce of political gain out of it. I wouldn't be surprised if the Government aren't the ones responsible for the spreading of the flu, either for population control or for keeping the government by crisis mentality alive and well for as long as possible. At least as long as it takes to ram through all the leftist agenda and make it impossible to undo the undoing of the Reagan revolution. 2010 will be here before we know it and maybe then our country will see which track we really want to run on.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Government aren't the ones responsible for the spreading of the flu, either for population control or for keeping the government by crisis mentality alive and well for as long as possible. At least as long as it takes to ram through all the leftist agenda and make it impossible to undo the undoing of the Reagan revolution. 2010 will be here before we know it and maybe then our country will see which track we really want to run on.

The "Experts" Just Don't Know What to Expect
Unexpected signs of life in our economy? Every time you turn around the so called expert market watchers are dumbfounded and surprised at what is going on. Whether the market indicators rise or fall it always seems as if those who get paid good money to report and understand are wrong or behind the curve, sometimes I wonder if I could do just as good a job, I too am surprised by a lot of things. Like, how the American people could elect someone with no real experience to run the country right into the ditch, and have optimism that is the right direction. I guess maybe the ditch is there to keep US from going over the cliff?
But for the fact that we are going at it 100 mph I would feel a little better about things.

As Slick as a Poll Cat
Polls indicate the American people are still in approval of the job the Obama team is doing as his honeymoon period comes to an end and the landscape is surveyed. I always wonder who gets polled because its never me and the questions asked always seem to be so ambiguous. I wonder if the respondents really think of how their answer will end up being manipulated to fit the template of the storyline, or do they fire off gut reactions and whimsy.
Take the loaded question, "are we on the right track?" Well, that depends. GM is now Government Motors, the Banking systems back door has been kicked in and Geithner and Co. seem to be wresting control from the banks, and won't even let them repay the money they were coerced into taking. Our enemies around the world see that our elected leader doesn't like this country a whole lot more than they do. How else could President Obama travel around the world and apologize for our past as if none of these other countries has/had any regrets about their own brutish behaviour in their struggles to survive as a nation? It is one thing to confess and repent to an equal or better, but quite something else to be sorry when you have done more good than bad and less bad than anyone else. Obamas selective recall of US history to me is a telling sign we are "not on the right track". Being sorry about the past won't change the future.
The polling also had questions of administration ethics and handling of the economy, two subjects that average uninformed Americans who rely on the evening news have no way of knowing how the the polling is related to past administrations poll numbers. Except for the rarely challenged notion that somehow the Democrat Party is more ethical ? And he new administration can better run the economy?

Happy Easter
Heres to hope for blessings and grace for our Nation and the whole wide world. I have a few thoughts to share and not all are good.
Reaching across the aisle? Obamas people still think that he does do that, wheres the proof? He never has and he never will. Bi-partisanship in the liberal media lexicon always means Republicans caving in to Democrats. That is what it is too. The true conservatives will never give in.
Since this isn't terrorism but it is a cottage industry in their little corner of the world, I don't undestand why we don't just bait them and blow them all out of the water. Where should the trials be held, if this is a criminal matter? I know we have to play down to the level of our competition, but this uncertainty and vacillating on an issue that is so straightforward and seemingly easy to diffuse has me wonder how our new kinder gentler nation will react when there is a real and present danger. We will apparently talk until we are blue in the face.
I see the path to a one world Government is becoming clear and the opposition, at least on our(US) leadership level, is nonexistent. Prophecy has foretold all this and every day I see more clearly that we are headed exactly where the Bible predicted we would go, and it is very frightening at the same time it is also exciting because God will save us, who believe. It makes me wonder about Barack Obama, he claims to be a Christian, yet has some most unChristianlike positions, and how he is taking US as quickly as possible into this socialistic one world system. I keep wondering if he could be The Man?
Talk about going ga-ga over the insignificant as Rome burns. The media has shown once again that it is the liberal lap dog and has no real desire to edify and educate our country to excellence.
Going to an Episcopalian Church is right up Obamas alley, and the choice of a family pet is another window into the mystery man who still hides who he really is, votes present, and campaigns instead of leads. Even the pooch's name has a narcissistic ring to it. Obama said a while back he would choose a dog like him, a mutt(while chuckling), maybe even a rescue dog? All good stuff, my kids ate it up and gave him some cudos. But once again the real Obama comes out and we see a little glimpse of what his rhetoric is and reality and we triangulate and come up with the theme. His pet choice is a Kennedy preference, so once again we see a person who says he is his own man and then winds up going in a route that seems subjugated by a preordained clique.
Oh well, I didn't really expect much more, but with all the hope instilled by so many I, too, try to catch that wave. I want to like and respect my President, I just don't like being manipulated and tricked. Unfortunately, all I see is hackery and puppet strings on Obama, I just wonder who is the Puppet Master here.
Only one way to figure these things out is that the Devil still has a firm grip on humanity. And it figures that the angle will become that somehow it was the Christian Church itself or the organization there in Tracy responsible when we know darn well it was a sick individual who performed a most atrocious and demented crime here. Obviously someone without a shred of Christ inside her heart. We want to know why but we will never really know what is in such a Black Heart, and we should not want to know, it is a disease.

The Reach too Far
I knew it was only a matter of time before the Obama administration went to the expected depths to scrounge for votes. With the economy shedding jobs, this move makes absolutely no sense, but in the election cycle dynamic it may be now or never to rahm this one through. So the team that will "let no crisis go by" without extracting every ounce of political gain out of it is caught in a paradox. Do they make their power play and infuriate all Americans (Republicans, Democrats, and Independents)who disagree with open borders, and the dilution of citizenship, and value of their individual votes, or do they put this on the back burner while universal health insurance and cap and trade emissions provisions get the legislative pole position?
Once again our founding Fathers' genius will give our nation its best chance to succeed. With only 2 years between any election theres always a chance to change course should the country start to veer out of control. Should Obama and Co. reach to far, and it seems that the finger they have on the pulse of the country is heavyhanded, and they will push too hard. Just look at the only place they see to cut the budget, the National Defense. Or look at how quickly they took off all pretense of hiding their pro-abortion stance. Look how quickly they have stopped bashing Bush and his 500 Billion dollar deficits and given us Trillion dollar plus deficits. The Democrat party cannot wait to wield their power and won't take the time to make sure they do not do more damage. And the American people who have brains to think will see through the power grab and bald faced attempts to legislate majorities indefinitely.
The tea parties next week will most likely be a very eye opening experience for the Media. As they will have to do their darndest to look the other way after the huge protests become obvious to all that real Americans do care and will mobilize. How they will try to spin things to shield Obama will be most interesting to behold. I will have photos here of the gathering in Sacramento. The only benefit to a slow economy right now for me is I will have time to go protest instead of working. And the Conservative protesters will be heard instead of the usual professional protesters the left always trots out and moves from protest location to protest location. These will be real American people affected by what is happening in our economy and to our future, and making their voices heard and their stance clear.

Its really still just a Campaign
President Barack Obama seems to be campaigning perpetually. His overseas tour consisted of bashing his country and bowing to Islamists. I believe he may very well be campaigning to these other countries and religions to try to get unanimity for his global vision. A world that is united in purpose could be a good thing if it's purposes were only good.
But Obama himself said that dealing with international interests was like working in the US senate, only Barack only did one half of his first term there so I don't really think he had much of a grasp for how that body really works either. He didnt have enough time in the Senate to figure his butt from a hole in the ground, pardon my Austrian. And now the New York times is running polls that show that we appreciate and endorse our 'Dear Leader' and his flaccid foreign policies. Obama ought to have US ripe for a takeover by the time he is done with his first (and hopefully only)term.
My qualm is that the judgement that our country has warranted cannot be assuaged, even with this current bout of executive immolation. We don't need any approval from Europe or the Middle East anyway, they have as much fault as anybody on this Earth for the sorry state of affairs. This is but a part of our payment due for all the ways we have backslidden as a nation, a country once blessed and inspired by God. We turned away from the Lord and he is letting US see how it will be without Him to guide US back into His good graces. And I am not just talking about the last 8 years, I am talking about the last 40 some years. And 40 years to God means something, that is the time of trial and the time of measuring the hearts and minds of His people. The time of and for penance and penitence.
We have been judged, now we must accept our correction, and learn.
