Lets Make a Deal

Ever see a country self annihilate? Its happening right here, right now. The Washington(DC) crowd is being emulated by the California crowd and the New Jersey crowd and of course, the Illinois crowd. Throw in Florida and New York and what is that? Practically half the country, populationwise. I swear I am witnessing insanity on a mass scale. Who is emulating who, though? States cannot print money, so they are really the first to go and the first to know. Its like the Federal Government is egging US on, "Go ahead we can spend like there's no tomorrow, so you can too" Is it because there is no tomorrow? Are we just getting promised all the goodies for free now so when our freedom is required and we feel we must give something. And yet have nothing but our freedom left to give? By the time we receive what we are being sold out for I doubt it will be worth any price, whatever that price ends up being.

There's a juvenilistic deans list dreamer in The Peoples House. A sophomore who feels he can do an all night bs session with his frat buds propounding themes of equality and grandeur yet he has never had a real world accomplishment beyond getting elected to a public office, and an autobiography or two. He sees others views on life and death matters as inferior to his own if they disagree. His contempt for the nascent wisdom of any contrary idea to his own illustrates his close mind, condescension and true lack of wisdom trying to coalesce a unanimous stance when this whole country and other countries are put at risk by his unilateral compulsion.

He is wheeling and dealing our future and our kid's kids' future right down the 'ole rat hole. Affirmative action is one heavy two edged sword, it gets you so far and then if you don't have what it takes, you are in over your head, sunk. Exactly where the Anti-Bush is right now. Its good that Obama is not like Bush in all ways, yet in all the ways it would be better for Obama to be less like Bush he is just like him or even out-Bushing Bush himself! At least we can't blame the current rate of decline on faux conservatism. This is leftism and socialism on steroids. This is an intellectuals dream, a problem that can never be solved but will always have the appearance of being solved by more liberalism and more money shovelled in the general vicinity. Bush set the stage for this mess we are now in and opened the flood gates to spend away our future. Obama has blown up the dam, released the hounds, damn the torpedoes, and its Utopia or bust. The writing is on the wall where we end up going down this path. Give up all hope ye who enter here.

Why, we ask, are we weakening our defense capability right now when we are also weakening our economic ability to project power and authority? To whom are these concessions really being made? We can't even defend our borders properly yet we will trust a recently vanquished adversary to put down their weapons if we do first? We telegraph what our response will be if attacked, for what end? Isn't the uncertainty of what nuclear weapons can do and will bring what MAD was all about? Where is there a nuclear threat right now? It is bubbling up from a wannabe who will never sign any treaty. And even if they did sign on it would be worthless. Our friends are being slighted and offended while our foes are being elevated to a credibility they neither have nor deserve. To what end I ask? The answer is frightening and becoming more clear with every new front that Obama assaults our freedom and liberty on.

There is a score that our President wants to settle with "his" Country. The enslavement of the Middle Class would be a nice feather in his multi-cultural hat. The redistribution of the wealth in this country is the most obvious, and stated by Obama himself, goal. I am certain that Obama and this bunch of Leftists have a New World Order in mind, and the only thing standing in the way is the Old World Order. We are no longer a Christian nation in our elected officials eyes. That is what we are witnessing right now, the taking down and dismantling of everything that was. What these leftists are exchanging US for I am certain they do not even yet realize. They can never imagine all the unintended consequences of their foolish fantasies. Their eyes are not opened yet. Just like the Health Care reform, we wont know what's in it until we pass it.

Spring is time for rebirth, new beginnings, recommitment to the Lord, Family and also remembering everything that Easter stands for. Jesus Christ triumphed over death and His victory over Satan reconciled us to The Father. We live because he died in our place and paid the price once for all humanities failings.

With another chance to feel Gods grace we can attempt to serve him and our fellow man as best we can. With honesty, love, and the bravery to withstand all the trouble that life can put us through.

Black Jack or a Red Hot Poker In the Eye?

Witness the last few weeks of Politics as Usual. Some observations that come to my mind are how much it is all like being at the casino.

Pit boss Pelosi has surveyed the floor and likes what she sees. The Marks are all lined up waiting to get in the game and take their chance at the Government's Progressive Jackpot. The House has the favorable odds right now, but will it pay if they lose their bet? The gambling is on the long odds that the little guys can never ante up to get their big payout. Its a long shot that any one can win... but if all the stooges win at the same time it will break the bank for sure.

As I walk through the rows of one armed bandits I see people betting 15 credits on a dollar machine, and 300$ disappears in less than 5 minutes, wow! Max bet on the 5c. machine will take you down fast, too. The safe way to play is the one line on the penny machine or the 2c. machine, but that is the slow spiral down to zero, I don't think one in a thousand win that way.

Over at the card tables the real gamblers know how to manage their money and have a better shot at taking something home. When all else fails the House will always use the race card if they feel their position is not strong enough to win. Win lose or draw it is all pre determined that the house has the upper hand and will always outlast even the most determined effort to pile up the chips. They have the computers, the closed circuit TV, the psychological profiles and the house bank as their stronghold. Advertisements run all day with only a passing mention of help for the addict. They are forcing US to double down to break even and in the end even that is a victory that is unattainable and less satisfying if won. Even when we lose they bring the hammer down

Over at the roulette table 0 and 00 can clear out any of those systems that cover the board. As crappy as the odds are

Keno is my favorite, it is slow paced and usually break even at best. Rolling the dice and inevitably its seven.

But all things considered, if you want to keep your own money the best bet is to stay away from Pelosi's Casino, gambling, or 'something(anything) for nothing'.

When the Shoe is on the Other Foot

Liberals and Democrats, progressives, Liberal Democrats, and Leftists of all stripes seem to not understand the most basic fundamental of our Political system. It is that power does not always stay in the same hands and while majorities come and go there is a lower place to sink in our political spectrum. There is, or used to be, a golden rule an ethical imaginary line not crossed because what goes around will come full circle. A Karmic Boomerang in the most secular humanist sense imaginable.

We have seen last week how a Political goal of a hundred years was achieved by parliamentary chicanery and tactical subterfuge. Americans are now subject to the Government at our most basic and vulnerable point. I see why it would be a point of attack for the leftists. It is the umbrella we all fall under, the golden lasso surrounds US all, now.

Personally I may benefit from this new system before it becomes the albatross that permanently cements my place in the collective. I lost my personal health insurance due to a horrid economy. I don't want the government to give it back to me. I want to earn it back when I can afford it. The government cant even do its most basic jobs properly, like securing our border from invasion. Like spending within its own limits of scope responsibility and revenue. Why would anybody think they can do better with health care for all when Medicare and Medicaid are going bankrupt right now? Social Security and even our deteriorating infrastructure are evidence this Government needs to shrink, not grow.

I have seen a vision of our future here in America and it is still the darkest of the night just before the Dawn. I pray sanity returns to the voters this November and we begin to swing the pendulum back the other way, there is so little time and so little room for error anymore.

A Government this big will fail, it is failing.

Whither We go Yonder or; Wither, We going Under

Greece was an original Western Country in thought and in all political freedoms and enlightenments. It seems fitting to me that they would be the ones of the Western Democracies who must first pass back through the Rubicon.

So many countries are teetering at the abyss, one more nice economic meltdown and all hell breaks loose. California is lucky that Greece will lead the way so maybe the people here can see it and do something before we are right there, below the tide. It is comical that the safety net became the hammock for the Government workers and lazy citizens and now look at how they cry when they kill their own Golden Goose. It is happening right here in the once great state of California. The takers are complaining and pitching fits that more needs to be done, when it is all that largesse, bleeding heart compassion and overspending that has brought US to the brink of ruin. You can always find someone in dire straits, and if you make it policy to give a handout to every downtrodden, why, the number grows exponentially. There's a reason they say in Jellystone,"Don't feed the Bears". Throwing money at a problem seems to be the 'progressives' only course of action.

Government programs and more Government programs only beget more bureaucracy, red tape and bloated cumbersome hurdles for our economy. The answer is always raising taxes and spending more, especially if you want to destroy an economy, or just attempt to make a political party look bad. The Democrats tried that under Bush thinking with a little positive hype it could all be turned around on a dime for Obama, only now that one thin dime is all the change thats spared.

California came off a brilliant economic run of 10 years and the legislature never put a dime away for the end of the bull run. It was always spending more every year, always more. We fired a Governor because of out of control budgets and spending and he was replaced by a tough guy that caved in at the first bit of resistance. Government grew at a much faster rate than anything else during the roaring times from 2003 to 2007 except for the population of illegal immigrants flooding over our southern border and effectively invading our country.

In 2007 the federal Government had a budget that was only 170 billion$ deficit, I say only because now we may never see anything that good for 10 years or more, according to this administration. So why not just go back and adopt the 2007 budget straight out? Say sorry, there is no more money~ what programs were implemented between then and now that are indispensable? I would be happy to go back to my 2007 budget and make a go of things, I bet I could do it, easy.

Agree or Disagree

I have had people tell me I think too much about Obama and politics. Friends, acquaintances, and family have said I am even obsessed. I have known people to be obsessed with Presidents in the past, people who I had disagreements with on various issues(social and political). I felt they were obsessed and blaming Bush for many things out of his scope of reach. Maybe the same thing is happening right now with this President and myself?

I know full well that no President can take all the credit or all the blame for everything. That would be ridiculous to suggest. However, a President does set the mood. A President can either use Government to set up roadblocks or get out of the way. A President has enormous power to expand Government, intrude and shape markets by power of taxes, spending priorities, bills signed into law, threats of meddling, threats of raising taxes, threats of bureaucracy, and changing the law whenever they feel it necessary. Not to mention foreign policy and basic uncontrollable world events and how correct actions spell positive or negative ramifications for all of US. Evidence no President has that much power is the testament that Obama has not already done more damage. We can and will overcome these current setbacks, it is just a question of how far we will fall before we pick ourselves up and with common sense start over again.

I have never looked for a President to do any more or any less than what was in our Nations best interests. I also want my President to be flexible enough to assess conditions and enact the electorates desire as much as is good and as is logical given the fact we are over 350 million people. Obama was voted in for changes sake. He mistook what he was given as the benefit of the doubt as to his partisanship and ran on to remake the country. The problem was his opaque candidacy and vague and diaphanous record did not let voters understand where the man really stood on any issue that mattered to the country at large. Now he has to present himself and the issues all at once and there is a disconnect from the will of the people. People want to like the man, he was voted in on an affirmative action reservation. But we want what is good for the whole country, not just the same demonized special interests who are now, comically, Obamas bedfellows.

The economy is the engine that makes this country tick, without money we are about as likely to succeed as Mexico. Social programs are killing Western countries one by one and soon we will see all the evidence we need when Greece and Spain take down the EU. The state of California is a prime example of what too many promises and not enough real work getting done will lead to. Governor Schwarzenegger has failed almost as spectacularly as Obama will and I believe that is why he is coming out in defense of the misguided un~American policy the Democrat Party is hosting everywhere.

More than likely with all our tech and manufacturing going overseas this country will have to become agricultural in order to survive. Maybe then we will focus on our own energy and strengthen ourselves on ourselves. Who knows if the rest of the world can thrive while we take a break from policing the world and find ourselves again. I imagine that will be the final shakedown into the one world Government and I see it happening within 10 years. Obama is kind of our interim steward, a catalyst, who will prepare US for our descent into the sea of Nations.

The Power and the Glory

Our planet Earth is so much more able to defend herself and re start on a new path I just laugh when Scientists try to claim that we can somehow alter the Planets destiny. Maybe we can alter our own destiny on this Planet but even then it would not be too long before all memory of our civilization were erased until some future generation of Archeologists dug up our ruins. The blip that is this modern growth spurt is one heartbeat on the grand scale of everything this planet has seen or will see in the next billion years.

How many times can it start again?

Beauty and Tragedy

All that is so awesome about being a human being was summed up at the Opening ceremony at the Vancouver Olympics last night. The day began by illustrating the frailty and vulnerability even our champions must endure. By the time the Ceremony was complete we saw a most beautiful host in all their glory, the creative genius of artists and choreographers, a stunning show with history and balance. We saw the hopefulness around the world celebrating excellence and comradery.

We saw the human spirit and how beautiful it can be.

Beware of What You Say

I guess I should extend sympathies when I see someone trying to do the right thing, but still stepping in it. It is so difficult to even bring up the subject of weight and children anymore without offending someone's sensitivities or inviting disorder. Michelle Obama should really know better than to use her own children as an example, didn't the school grade fiasco teach the Obamas how its impossible to draw attention to the first kids without risking embarrassment to the children or to themselves? It is not wise at all to mention a young girls weight, even with the best intentions and full knowledge that there is no problem there.

Sensitivities are so thin and the pressure in this world is so tough, a complex is just waiting to be hatched even from the most benign of comments. I believe stressing the ability to create the bodies we want if we are willing to work hard for it is the key to mental peace. And eating right should be the goal of every person, no matter what state of physical condition they are in at the moment. And we need to teach the children everything is easier to control when they are small, but it can become impossible if nothing is done when we have our chance.

Weasel Words

Harry Reid has got to go, what is his plan after he gets voted out? Is it the same thing he plans for Americans in general, depicted in the photo above?

If this is leadership I would hate to see him shirk.

Call Me a Skeptic

We can't trust Iran as far as we can throw them, and it seems as if our Foreign Policy has become designed to eliminate our ability to throw anything anywhere, nowadays. I fear that the smokescreen is going up and Obama is going to react to the head fake and next week something will have changed, in a big way.

I know there is always a certain level of bluster emanating from The Islamic Republic, but not to take them at their words on their very real intentions is folly. The only thing we can count on is their incompetence, and that, as seen here by our own Government's budgetary game of 3 card Monte is as reassuring as a heart attack, and just as serious.

Iran is employing the typical Islamascist superstition of dates begetting motivation begetting attacks. For all their supposed spiritualist beliefs in Mohammad and Allah, and Mahdi they seem unbelievably numerological and materialistic and one dimensional when it comes to their violent dealings in the physical world.

I wonder sometimes if Iran isn't just the proxy that Russia or China is employing, a pawn with the nerve to get in the face of the US, and stir the pot. And now with Obama at the helm we are as likely to apologize for standing up for ourselves and the Free worlds vital interests as to topple this pathetic Dictatorship. At the worst, Iran can expect another ultimatum and date setback and therefore they will just keep moving forward in their attempt to get actionable nuclear weapons.

Even a broken clock is right 2x a day.

Incompetence is as incompetence does, evil that lies in wait and is undisturbed may eventually bear it's rotten fruit.

Ignoring a problem won't make it go away.

Our President is so out of touch with the electorate my bewilderment is inducing vertigo. Obama is going populist, railing now against banks. The scapegoated revenant Big Insurance is stepping aside to allow Obama to fix his offensive on Big Financial. Big Pharma or Big Farma?? I wonder if Obama and Warren Buffet worked out as plan to sell short early last week after the devastating loss in Massachusetts. When Obama speaks the markets listen. Obama has begun to treat all Americans who disagree with his positions like 6th graders, to be lectured at.

Zeroing in on Hugo and Venezuela

The US earthquake machine is finding its range, and Hugo was wrong! Our primary target was him. Conspiracy theorists are evidently everywhere.

...Are our ability to stay solvent and prosper, maybe just to survive.

Mr. Populist is turning my stomach every time I hear him speak now. He says he lost connection with the American people, he says he knows what we are battling through out here, he blames special interests for the buzz saw effect he ran into last week. It is all so much campaign Obama. That is all we will ever get from this man. I am afraid I can see further into the ramifications of his policies that damage and destroy wealth and policies that could actually help improve our economy than he can. That scares the hell out of me. Because I don't know much, just a bit more than living in the real reality. And I realize I have been blessed with common sense and Obama seems like all he was blessed with is the ability to read a teleprompter and the twin powers of persuasion and deception.

The way he proclaims its not about him and his tone and inflection says that is all everything is about, is him. I almost get the feeling that after the big loss in Massachusetts he is in hyperdrive to complete his agenda as quickly as possible, and I fear that agenda is dismantling America in order to rebuild it the way his pea brain sees fit.

If the Republicans don't take the bait, Emperor Obama will complete his own populist argument and illustrate precisely who we must oppose.

November will come just in the nick of time, and 2012 is not too far after that.

Blue Monday, Red Tuesday?

Massachusetts is in an honorable position of restoring our Democracy today. I must say I am a little jealous. My vote in the tin state of California has been discounted for years. My voice of protest has been drowned by the caterwauling throng of pillagers and plunderers for most of my adult life. We have led the way down to the bottom here on the left side of the country while New England States have over on the right side. The special election today gives Mass. a chance to start the correction and maybe turn the Titanic away from the iceberg.

It seems fitting to me that the place where the Revolution began gets the chance to stave off the new ruination right on the threshold of our demise. A much needed system of checks and balances has gone unchecked for a whole year, 3 if you count the lame duck descent of George W. Bush. In Massachusetts, like California, it has gone on much longer. Americans cherish their freedom and liberty above all else and the Obamacrats have tried to over reach their mandate from day 1. Just like the Republicans and Bush did in 2004. But since the Republicans have never had a controlling majority we never saw the extent of their strategies. And in the end maybe thats for the best because Conservatism has not been run aground and discredited yet. Although the Republicans were hardly Conservative. I wonder if Democrats think Obama Pelosi Reid are hardly liberal?

I will watch the returns today and pray that sanity begins to creep back into our political structure starting with the will of the people, and also pray that Gods will be done in this, as in all things. Our nation used to have a divine blessing and now I am not so sure. But God never abandoned Israel, and since we are still and always will be a great force for good in the world, I have supreme faith that God will not abandon US now.

Voting is the lifeblood of Democracy, use it or lose it.

If this works for Martha our Nation is in more trouble than I ever imagined.

Not the colour of ones skin but the content of their character is my personal favorite.

Obamas model is one of failure and impotence.

Martha also said the terrorists are gone, luckily Obamas eyes are opened up to the reality and I think that is why his hair is going grey so fast.

The world keeps turning toward sanity, and we continue to the left and into the ditch? but wait... there's still hope!

Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it? Obama did inherit what he had a hand in creating though.

Good News out there, the peace prize has payed dividends.

Not done yet, the Earth is shuddering and the widespread possibilities of disaster are not relegated to Haiti alone.

And why aren't the Haitians being treated at the greatest Medical paradise in the world? Their next door neighbors? That makes sense.

Sounds like monkey business to me.

Unprecedented, Unexpected, Unbearable

The tragedy happening right now in Haiti has so many layers to unravel that nothing could possibly explain how or why this happened, right now. Suffice to say there is a divine lesson here, God rains on the just and the unjust. There is a political element, sometimes we humans have to lie down in the bed we have made. There is a compassion and desire from most every human to do anything we can to help a fellow human being in need. All in all, prayer on any level and any help at all will save lives.

Nothing else matters.

Oh My, We Have a Dearth of Leadership

In both parties, at all levels of Government.

What will it take for the Republicans to truly embrace conservatism?

And what would it take for Democrats to absolve the type of liberalism that dehumanizes?

I know... a 3rd party, but right now that will give the Democrat Party all the time they need to complete the destruction of this once great country and its economy.

Michael Steele had my support until he started chasing his tail around in circles. This is truly self defeating and all the evidence I need to prove why being an independent is the smartest move any voter can make.

Harry Reid and all the hullabaloo around his race based remarks proves the left side of the aisle only has subservience in mind for, and condescension toward those they profess to champion. When even the one demeaned gives a pass for political expedience, what more is left to say, but...

One of the first steps in the rebuilding of the once great State of California will be to remove a blight and a mistake made back in 1992. A direction that has paralleled the downward spiral this State has chosen as it's pathway to lead our Nation.

I am not sure in whom to put my hope to disengage this obligatory trough feeding, influence peddling, demagogue, but Carly Fiorina seems to have the real world credentials and personal ability to stand and fight an entrenched heavyweight. Barbara Boxer has never once even pretended to represent people like me and to have been in office for the last 18 years with so little to show for it but unapologetic partisan hackery speaks volumes about what we can expect from another term gifted to such an airhead.

If the Senatorship has to go to women from now on lets try a conservative woman for once and see what kind of representation we get. I am certain there will be at least some pro business policy with Carly. We always seem to look at liberal women when espousing gender politics. California really cannot do worse than Feinstein and Boxer, so lets try to start fixing some of the systemic credibility deficit on the Democrat pretenders and clarify perceptions about Conservative women. Lets begin to put this State back on the track to lead in the US and in the World, we have so much that can be good and to see it squandered like it has for so long is the most disappointing thing I can think of that I have seen happen right in front of my own eyes.

Shame on Shwarzy

Arnold Schwarzenegger has become a caricature of himself and what he stood for when he upended Gray Davis in a special election oh so many(7) years ago. A fiddle played by the Democrats for years, the Governator is like a Stradivarius for Tchaikovsky. As reactionary and unimaginative as the best the Liberals can offer, Shwarzenegger didn't slow down the descent of this state at all. He gave up at his first defeat and never was able to educate the general and often idiotic electorate where their penchant for more Government programs was leading this once great State.

The Governor barely alludes to the perennial budget stalemates that are as expected and accepted as trading productive farmland for a tiny fish. He wants the Federal money to bail California out but failed to mention how state workers are going to court to rescind their furlough days, thereby insuring either lost jobs or the eventual bankruptcy of this state, or more likely, both. Pensions, I guess, will be reworked after the state goes officially bankrupt. Its not just the state workers that are doing this, it is involved in every facet of state spending, the takers are killing the golden goose. And the Governor seeks to tie the prison system to the higher education system somehow in dollars spent? Maybe, and on this I am certain, there is tremendous waste in both systems. But there is no real and proven correlation, so why amend the state constitution? Hog tie us with another layer of red tape?

Regulation was hardly addressed when jobs were referenced, and the green jobs farce and Obamaesque hope and change rhetoric give clues the Governor is not really serious about making this state somewhere a person can raise a family and operate a business with little Government intrusion. Immigration has become only a tool to leverage more money out of Washington now, back when there was a chance to defend our border and save some American jobs political correctness trumped law and order, and the Hispanic vote was the holy grail both Republicans and Democrats sold the state out for.

Arnold has proven that he is truly his wifes husband, and more a Kennedy than a Reagan. Taxation without representation is what California Conservatives are used to and Arnold definitely delivered.

There is an old saying that if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it is a duck. How many years now has Shwarzenegger been a lame duck? Apparently this is his last year as our Governor and it is so unfortunate for me to have to say, good riddance.

When Will The Luck Run Out?

Barack Obama has been the political equivalent of Midas in his ascendency to the highest political office in the world. Every time a fortunate occurrence must happen to save his bacon he gets the chance and the option.

Obama somehow got into Harvard Law School with unknown grades and modest means. He even went to exclusive private schools as a youngster where his grades and who paid have been carefully hidden. The only editor of the Harvard Law review who never published a paper of his own. Everywhere he has gone he has defied the odds that would normally sink the average performer in spite of the affirmative action and that charismatic smile.

Barack Obama began his political career by disqualifying his State Senate opponent, then, when he moved on to National Politics, it was the leaked sealed divorce records of his Democrat primary contender and his Republican counterpart in the general election. The divorce record of Jack Ryan begat the replacement by the hapless and incendiary Alan Keyes, imported from Maryland to the ultimate alienation and embarrassment of Illinois Republicans.

Triple 7's to Obama.

When John McCain had Obama down in the polls just a few months prior to the 2008 election suddenly the financial crisis hit and the economy grinded to a near halt. Amazingly the media then began touting polls and inflaming passions that insinuated the American public trusted Obama and the Democrat Party more to repair the economy and return prosperity to the land. ??!??

Obama got the nod and the general public got to relearn what the Democrat Party has in mind for the economy and the engine of wealth. Again, timing was Obamas best asset.

Now we start 2010 with Iran on the verge of nuclear capability and terrorists attempting to perform terrorist acts wherever and whenever possible. Two challenges that Obama can actually use to gain credibility and stature with his opposition and his sane base. Iran is teetering on the brink of revolution and with minimalistic effort a regime change may be possible. Removing the Mullahs could remove the threat of Nuclear proliferation and conflict with Israel.

And in regards to the domestic threats we have seen recently with the Christmas Day underwear bomber and by Major Hasan at Fort Hood, just acknowledging them as terrrorists and basic countermeasures could bring instant credibility. The only way the Administration stopped the underwear bomber was with their hope, and the flying dutchman. It was blind luck, operator ineptitude and/or Divine providence that saved those 288 souls over Detroit, not Obamas treatment of enemy combatants with constitutional protections. Changing the definitions of perpetrators and their actions and trying them in civilian courts is not a policy of deterrence, it's an invitation to strike the paper tiger.

Obama is once again provided a glorious opportunity to shine and while I have little faith in him to actually do the right thing, I am heartened by his penchant for the fortuitous chance that eventually may even benefit US serendipitously.

We Still Live in a Free Country

For a little while longer anyway,

at the rate we are giving away our freedom and at the rate the Government is angling US toward the one World Government I give US about 10 years. At this pace in another 50 years there won't be anyone left alive who remembers what freedom is really like. Its so sad and even difficult to teach the kids these basic facts. They are caught up with the celebrities and the ipods and video games and hardly seem to care, and as long as their needs are met how can they even know?

It is so hard to teach these kinds of lessons when the solution may be more unsavory than the problem, right now. But someday, when too much water has gone under the bridge only the greatest upheaval will bring things back to how they should be, in a free country.

Happy New Year Everybody

2009 had moments as precious as any in my memory, and quite a lot I will be happy to forget. But the refining trials will certainly make me stronger in the long run, and as always there is so much to be thankful for.

Here is to 2010 correcting some of the anomalies that characterized a very tough year, I am always optimistic better days are right around the corner.

The System Worked?

I am finding the give and take that is going on in regards to the Administrations explanations of Terrorists boarding planes with explosives tiring and condescending to say the least. The backpedaling is in full gear now but still no one is touching on the very thing that can stop this nonsense in its tracks, and that is PROFILING. Who is attempting to do US harm? Who could even benefit from some of these crazies being profiled?

Instead we will see little old ladies and small babies being frisked and wanded and a guy with a turban and a dirty night shirt sniggering to himself.

P.s. I am not against Muslims per se but they too will be benefitted by the profiling and elimination of the radical element of their faith. Islam needs a reformation asap and pretending that we are not at odds with radical Islamascists will seal the death of the West.

Sanctions for the "Holy" Islamic Republic?

Obama will put his money where his mouth isn't and get tough on Iran(ha!). There is a momentous tide shifting and our President has already made the decision to treat with the Dictators. I am sure it's just code for something. Obamas first year legacy is littered with opportunities squandered to solidify support from the center and the right with gestures as slight as verbal support and showing fortitude over cya. I knew what we had early on and Obama is not failing to reinforce my low opinion of himself.

Cowardice is as Coward does. In the end Iran will have the bomb and the Middle East will be an unsolvable mess except for the War Obama is ensuring. He has been given this gift to change the dynamic in Iran and is instead siding with radical Islam, go figure.

I wonder if Obama is earning his peace prize right now?

Usurpation of Our Nation

Step by step Obama and company are whittling away at our National sovereignty and our individual freedoms. It is as though there is a distinct plan to complete this task in as short order as possible, with the door closing and the 2010 election standing in the way of this unchecked power grab.

When I first heard about the Interpol amendment it caused just a slight blip on my radar screen. Not ever dreaming that even Obama would cede our sovereignty in such a direct and solitary manner. Who does this man think he is? He has not even come up with a reason for such a concession as of yet. When the leftists were howling about George W. Bush and the Patriot act opening up violations to our civil liberties do they think it better to give all that power to a foreign entity? At the least the Patriot act could be rescinded or phased out, but this amendment our Dear leader has put into law is going beyond Congress and beyond the Supreme Court, even beyond the Executive as it stands as written.

Executive Order 12425 was written by Ronald Reagan to give interpol diplomatic immunity, but only to a degree that our own Police and Constitution enjoyed. Now Obama has seen fit to take away a few sentences and put Interpol above the Law and Constitution. It is amazing to me and I don't even want to imagine the nefarious implications that this sets into motion. Where are the checks and balances to this man? Where are the Libertarians? Where is the news media? Is everybody so focused on that Lion Cheetah Tiger? Or is the new shoe/ leg bomber the latest distraction? Or another Obama trip to Hawaii? The Pope getting knocked down will take our eyes off the ball for a few minutes, coupled with a big snow storm right in the middle of Global Warming, add in a last minute Health Care take over deal and there you have it. All the cover a rascal needs to undermine just about as much Sovereign structure as is needed, and to accomplish exactly what? Try to put our military and Bush and Cheney on trial for War crimes some day? I am beginning to see that may be what this is all about. This President is becoming every day closer and closer to igniting the beginning stages of a Civil War, and to think he campaigned on being able to heal the divisions in this Nation, I only see him driving wedges in every little crack and fissure.

It is comical that the very things the Leftists are doing right now are the things they always accused and imagined were going on in their opposition. And Obama is setting the very precedent to criminalize his own actions. The only way out of this for Him could be to become permanent ruler.

A Sign of the Times

Sometimes we get a signal from above and it lets us all know we are headed in the right direction, or wrong , depending on the outcome. An omen can come in a personal relationship or in International Worldwide Colloquy. The premonition can be heeded or ignored and the consequences could be positive, minimal or terminal.

When I receive such directive I just thank the good Lord he cares enough to correct me and guide me.

Russia claimed they were running a test of an intercontinental ballistic missile when it malfunctioned. I wonder why they were testing a missile at the same time President Obama was accepting his Nobel Peace Prize? And in another interesting coincidence the super collider was recently restarted and the Scientists are back to attempting to recreate a big bang! I wonder if the theory of Space aliens watching over us here on Earth is a possibility, and perhaps they are concerned we will soon obtain the ability to annihilate all living things in their little aquarium.

The Full Frontal Assault

The shadow Government is being put in place. The timing of the release of EPA conclusions on CO2 with Copenhagen World Climate meetings is uncanny. Its unreal to me that in the face of a declining economy and naturally declining CO2 levels we will ground our ship over a naturally occurring by product. How dare they claim CO2 is a pollutant, what are we all to do, stop breathing? Trees need CO2 so what happens when we eliminate it to them?

The breakneck speed of the takeover is coinciding with the revelations of manipulations in the data and the challenge to the narrative that the Global Warming aka Climate Change. The one world Government is what is behind the Global Warming Hoax and while the Bible predicts this will happen I will continue to fight the insanity that will lower our standard of living at best and ignite WW3 at worst. If we follow this thing through to where political "leaders" are taking US and the world we will see a mess like none other, guaranteed.

Worth The Wait?

Now we all know why Obama has been waiting so long to figure out what he wants to do in Afghanistan. There was a real need for cover to mask the indecisive procrastination Obama is compelled to employ. Our foreign policy has been confused at best and deliberately submissive if my worst fears are correct. I have known all along that Barack Obama is as weak and apprehensive a commander in chief as we have ever had. His track record through out his career has been one of an inability, either willful or by default, to make a principled stand on anything. Unless you factor his rising up to say a Cambridge police officer acted stupidly, or a couple party crashers needing to be investigated. Abortion, entitlements, and anti capitalism stances are just part and parcel to his leftist ideology, but would most likely get discarded or discounted if direct pressure were ever exerted in a meaningful manner.

The Obama way is to defer tough decisions so he can personally stay above the fray and keep his personal approval ratings as high as possible. Unfortunately for him, and US, the job he ran for is not campaigner in chief. He is not just the happy face on Pelosi and Reid's policy hour. He is not supposed to be beholden to his support network, he is supposed to be where the buck stops.

The administration inherited 2 wars, one basically won and winding down, the bad war. And then there was the war Obama said we had to win, to defeat Al-Queda, Taliban and Islamic terrorist networks wherever they are affiliated. The good war, as the leftists referred to it, was in Afghanistan, and according to the tough talking Obama in the campaign of 2008 the one he would pursue and claim our victory. Now that Iraq has quieted, the Islamic militants are re organizing into Afghanistan. We need to figure out what our objective there is and then do whatever it takes to complete the job. If that is to send in more troops, then we need to support Obama to the end, but, if he wants to declare an exit strategy and then send more troops in with targets on their backs and rules of engagement tying their hands, we might as well admit our defeat and save as many American lives as possible.

How I wish our President had a backbone so I could support him as much as his policies will allow. But every move Obama makes seems to be to do whatever the opposite of Bush, even if its detrimental to the country as a whole. All that for the support of American and International leftists. At this rate I cannot even hope to find support for him in my heart. At least Bush put the country first, even above his own approval ratings and tarnished legacy. BHO appears to be on a quest to weaken and destroy our country, and for that he deserves to be thrown out of office asap.

The story line will probably go as follows; Bush got US into this horrible situation in a country that has shambled many empires. Now Obama through great wisdom and insight will extricate the US from the quagmire with an approach that is nuanced and bolsters our standing in the Islamic world, and the world at large. Russia and China look on in wonder, Iran will stop trying for a bomb and N. Korea will comply fully to the UN. The gentle giant will carefully retrace their steps out and apologize for breaking anything.

Since everything in Obamas world starts and ends with him I am certain his decision making is qualified by his personal exposure first. We have yet to really hear this President advocating for the country as a whole, and I am beginning to get the feeling we never will.

Tone Deaf

The way the leftists wield their power is illustrative of the content of their character. When they reach a moment of true discourse the preferred method of dialogue is destruction of the opposition. Their arguments are so weak and yet they forge onward, seemingly mindless of their vapidity and duplicity. Ends justify means and just don't try to figure out the ends.

If we talk about jobs and why there are so few, its the rich CEO's and greedy Corporations shipping jobs over seas, it's not our open borders and the invasion of illegal immigrants. Amnesty has to be the answer now, because then only Americans will have jobs. Its not the great sellout to China and the subsequent loss of manufacturing, because of short sighted policy, regulation and excessive taxation.

If we talk about the climate then we must hurry and tax ourselves into a knot because the fact that scientists are faking the data can't possibly mean they have an agenda, can it? The Copenhagen summit talking points have already been written so any last minute revelation can be ignored until after the pontificating ends. Agreements between heads of state will make more sense than the little guys actually living in the climate.

Appearances of peacefulness when waging war is more important than the vanquishing a foe. Peace prizes are more coveted than actually realizing peace. Public opinion sways decisions so far and then political outcomes demand true Statesmanship and a wet finger to the wind.

If we talk about health care, then having health care is actually more important than having a job, after the health care needs are solved we will need food insurance because the economy will be destroyed and few will be able to put food on their tables. I wonder if starvation is a health care condition that can be met by the Government Health board? Pelosi Reid probably have not thought through the ramifications of reworking everything on a scale of the entire country. The willing lab rats in San Francisco and Nevada are not quite indicative of our Nation as a whole.

Our energy policy only becomes an issue worthy of public awareness when prices spike and personal budgets are shattered. When there is a lull in prices is exactly when we should be thinking that energy independence as something attainable within the shores of our own continent.

But its all ok now. As our leader throws a huge gala for a foreign dignitary to prove he belongs on the world stage, Rome is crumbling beneath his feet of clay. BTW did anybody bow down to Obama last night? Besides the White house press corps and Chris Matthews?

And if anybody opposes him for any reason at all it must be racism. Obvious connections, and apologies to and for known enemies of our Constitution and Country can simply be overlooked... communists just want equality and Islam is a religion of Peace, after all. The State has all the answers, just read it in their newspapers.

The crassness of the Pop culture idol worship mentality has led US to an interesting juxtaposition of truth, power, entertainment, responsibility and progress. Where we are right now, in terms of debating these real and serious issues, truly is where we deserve to be. Divided, and not even talking about real solutions.

We are gazing at our navels, dreaming of the stars and ignoring our peril.

Jobs Created or Saved

How do we quantify jobs created or saved in an economy that is as diverse as what we have here in America? I know the Administration is turning to the economy and jobs now, because after a whole year or 1/4 of Obama's term, there is no sign of life in this economy. How will the Democrats pay for their grandiose schemes when the coffers are running dry?

There is a whole underground economy that is working just fine for some people, there are people throwing money away every day at the casinos, there are people who collect benefits from the Government and work for cash under the table, there is a huge cadre of the self employed who cannot be factored into the jobless numbers, and there are all the youths who want to work but cannot get their foot in the door. Illegal aliens are still in this country, working in just about every industry I can see. There is a realignment of the work being done, and if the Government thinks they can control or direct this economy they are sadly mistaken and will continue to try stimulus failures until we are so in debt default will be a step forward.

Somehow, the official stimulus calculations, as ridiculous as they are, mock the efforts of the politicians to use these slush funds to both stimulate and coordinate. Districts have been fabricated to bolster hiring numbers and I wonder where that real money actually went. Jobs cannot be created unless there is a demand for the services or products the workers will produce. Businesses cannot even think about hiring until they know what kind of costs things like health care and cap and trade energy taxes will add to their bottom line.

There are so many people needing work I just cringe when I see an illegal alien holding down a good paying job. I imagine that job helping an American family stay in their home or an American youth getting started in the work force. The illegal aliens not only have found their way into good paying jobs but also take everything at the bottom end. You know, jobs kids used to do to learn their work ethic, like mowing lawns and odd jobs for home owners. They sell their services for such a low rate that handy men and women and small time contractors are cut off at the knees. They can afford to do these jobs and live in America and have so many children because they have wives or girl friends collecting welfare and they use the emergency room for all their routine health care needs. It is such an amazing scam I wonder when Obama will try to figure out where so much of his money is going down so many rat holes. When that happens I wonder if his amnesty program will make even more sense to himself than just slamming this drain shut and coalescing these jobs to already documented legal Americans who are forced to collect unemployment and work under the table to make their ends meet?

These are just a few of the thoughts that cross my mind every time I go into a Home Depot parking lot and see 20 to 50 guys all lined up waiting to get taken to work somewhere and sell themselves short for a loaf of bread.

A Logical Progression

As the country twists and turns and can't get moving because of the mixed signals sent out by the Obama administration something remarkable may be happening. A leader and a doer is getting prepared to step up and make the tough decisions and clean up another mess left by politicians (of both parties) who advance careers before Country.

When I first heard of and saw Sara Palin I had hope for the conservative movement. She has the looks necessary to cut through the TV generation of image first. She has a true message of traditional Conservative Principle and a clear and direct delivery. She also has a track record of accomplishment.

I know the liberal establishment really fears her now, because they are trying to destroy her every day. Her book gets fact checked before it is even released! Rumors and lies have been spread about her from the time of the announcement of her as McCains running mate. She has been attacked by Letterman and Saturday night live, it's really unbelievable the assault she has been able to withstand. When she stepped down from her Governorship I thought it was a huge mistake, but now I see that she was a sitting target there and if she was to do her job properly she couldn't tackle the bigger issues. I am now understanding it was a brilliant move looking to the future. Our country will need someone like her in 2012 desperately. Even if she does not run for President she will be able to rally the Conservative base and call attention to the real issues that our Nation faces.

The news media has totally underestimated who the independents are as a group. With a majority of the country saying they are center right and the Democrat party holding the registered voter advantage over the Republicans it is not too hard to figure out who the independents are. I am one myself. I quit the Republican party way back in 2002. It was a protest then against our open borders, but I made the mistake of joining the Libertarians. In 2006 I registered as an Independent and have been there ever since, I am a conservative American first. The Independents are out here waiting to hear real conservatives speak up, and that is where the Republican Party and their Rinos are losing. I know in the next election the Independents will swing to the Conservatives, we have seen what the Democrats always do. They fake to the right, usually toward the center and then move hard left after election. The perfect political storm brought US one Barack Hussein Obama.

He has proven his mettle and it is found lacking. All he can do is talk a good game, if you consider reading speeches written by his handlers good. He has not been able to accomplish anything, except to demoralize and destroy the shreds of the economy he had to work with. Obama constantly whines about the economy he inherited as if he had nothing to do with the transition and the voting in the Senate that he did for the prior two years. Exposed as a typical politician who will say anything to get elected the bloom is off the Obama rose now. His numbers will continue to fall because he is doing nothing to make the economy think it has a chance to revive itself. He knows nothing of Economics and has never done a physical job in his life, so he is out of touch with so much of what made this country great. Basically he is rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic right now. If the media had fact checked and looked into Obamas qualifications to be President we would be talking about Hillary Clinton as President right now and what she has done right or wrong to make things better. I would at least have a little more faith in Hillary not to destroy the country out of her own vanity. Bill proved pragmatic when the chips were down and I think Hillary would, too.

I think the 2010 elections will give Obama a chance to refocus himself and maybe save a shred of his Presidency. But the fawning press feeding his overinflated ego will be such a deterrent to a return to reality, I don't have much hope. Change by then will only be for the better. I am not sure there is another rabbit in the hat of BO, he is at a place where campaigning and wishful thinking no longer can move the ball forward, action is demanded and required. Unfortunately for US Barack Obama is a political coward who is so afraid of making a mistake he cannot make a decision and that is the biggest mistake of all. Leadership is on the stage and we have a poseur.

The Lord works in mysterious ways and these hard lessons our country is learning will make US stronger if they don't destroy US first.

The Problem is Obama's Economic Plan IS Working

I am happy that those drunk with power set their alarm clocks so they won't sleep through another workday. In fact working all weekend sounds like a good way to catch up on the tasks at hand that have been set aside to work on the grand master plan. Unfortunately, the grand master plan is the only thing they are working on, and the health care take over is just a part of that scheme.

Ultimately, to control all Americans and every thing we do is what the liberals desire and all their legislative paths lead to that conclusion. Control what we do and what we eat and you control US, which is why health care is the vehicle toward takeover the Liberals have decided upon. Everything affects our health and add the environment on top of that and wahlaah instant Governmental control over everything and every one. Of course these little pieces of Liberty stolen from US do not add up to communist China or the U.S.S.R overnight, but how did it happen there? And why, pray tell, would anybody think it can't happen here?

Get to work on the economy, please! Most Americans neither want nor need a Nanny, so sending San Fran Nan packing would be a positive step in the right direction next fall. Barabara Boxer could go into retirement with her and then the State of California could begin to show the kind of leadership that counts, we would begin a new era of self reliance and prosperity that could never be denied. It is truly a shame that a State that is the 8th largest economy in the world is circling the drain right now and only showing the Country how to self immolate.

Leadership is what is needed above all else right now, but not to lead the people by the hand to the promised land. We need leaders to ride herd over politicians and get them to stop mucking up the recovery and let US work our way through our problems, without Government interference...

As We awaken from Our Collective Stupor

The American people seem to have found their voices in the 11th hour as the Nation stood at the cliffs edge and saw only doom with one more step forward. The news media was so in love with the thought that Barack Obama was the one to save US they gave him credit for things he had never done. The media elite wore their optimism on their sleeves his ideas were only for our countries best interests, basically, they gave him a free pass. Overlooking all his associations with anti American, anti free market Capitalists, in fact, downright Marxist apologists. Overlooking who he was deferring to in the Democrat controlled House and Senate.

So intent was Obama to re make this country he sped forward with takeovers of industry after industry, promising goodies like free health care and a paternalistic federal Government that would surround US with a great big bear hug.

Well, had Obamas first concern been jobs and creating a favorable business climate, maybe he could have stealthily snuck in and stolen our liberties. But the audaciousness of his assumption that he had a mandate to lurch to the left has woken up the sleeping giant. This country has always been center-right with a hankering toward compassion for the underprivileged and the downtrodden. We just want the economy to work and many of US are happy to take care of our own Health Insurance decisions. All the government needs to provide is a catastrophic care backstop if a public option is the only way to assure nobody gets bankrupted by a major injury/illness. Maybe all the Government needs to do is enforce laws on the books like our borders and then be the bully who controls the out of control Lawyers with a dose of Tort reform?

All I know is all along I just wanted Obama and Co. to focus on the economy first. Apparently, many others also feel this way and sooner or later the dear leader will get the memo too. Heres more evidence the tone deaf in denial just won't get it, which works for me because they are sowing the seeds for their own downfall.

Health Care Debate?

With radicals and liberals now in charge of the US Federal Government the expansion of Government was inevitable. Those who spoke truth to power now acquiesce to it. Where fighting against a conspiracy to abscond with our liberty has now become a headlong rush give it to the Government. I cannot understand where the liberal consistency is in their thought(or lack thereof) process. Instead of coming up with solutions to our myriad problems in the Health Care delivery system in this country the Democrats and their supporters in this only seem able to demonize those who disagree with them. Threats and personal attacks take the place of well informed respectful dialogue.

I have many good ideas on how we can make things better in this "debate". The Republican Party has tried to put forth some ideas as well. We can have a two tier system with the uninsured joining medicare and medicaid, and maybe even pooling all the people who cannot afford group insurance company rates. The Republicans have put forth the idea of being able to purchase the insurance across state lines thereby increasing competition and lowering prices. What about health savings accounts where you get a better rate for using less services. How about a National catastrophic care option and everybody is responsible for everything else themselves? Do we use auto insurance for oil changes? I just think there are so may opportunities to fine tune a good system and scrapping it all to punish insurance companies will only destroy anything that is good. Doctors are threatening to quit the profession if the Government steps in with mandates on pay and where they work and other things counter productive to what they feel is their right to practice Medicine the way they see works best for themselves and their families. I am not one for arguing for health insurance companies, I don't like any insurance companies, but they do perform a service that many are quite happy with. I have a real problem with somebody making profit on the health of anyone else, too. Could the answer be forcing Health Insurance companies to become not for profit? Or creating a whole new not for profit side to that industry? Those questions are reserved for sharper minds than mine. I just know that unintended consequences always crop up when people try to change something that is so large and needed by almost everybody. I think fixing the economy is much more important for the President and Congress right now than tinkering with something that is useful and working well for a majority of American families.

How about Tort reform? Obama and his buddies Pelosi and Reid haven't even contemplated that yet, due to pressure from a main Democrat Party contributor, the Trial Lawyers of AMERICA. There are just too many sacred cows the Liberals are beholden too. So find some deep pockets and make them pay for everyone? Many in this country choose not to carry health insurance many choose othjer ways to spend their money, it is still a free country. If the Government must try and control Health care let them fix and run in a responsible way that health care system they are already entrusted to run. And I repeat and the CBO agrees Medicare and Medicaid will be bankrupt, and in the not too distant future. So put that in your pipe and smoke it!

The CBO estimates were put in place in 2007 and tell me what has made any of those programs better in the last 2 years? The recession? The hope and change that now infests the White House?

God help our great country.

The PreMature Exaltation

Our President has been in office for 9 months and received the Nobel Peace Prize. He was in the US Senate for little over half his first term before gaining the Presidency. Both of these accomplishments are usually gained after paying some dues, developing some worldly knowledge, and having a record that stands on its own. I am just astounded by the fawning and by the great expectations heaped upon a man with so little identifiable ability. Nowhere in Obamas known or hidden past is there any reason for anybody to think that he can live up to any of the grandiose pretension laid at his feet by people who want to believe and therefore suppress the very reality that is slapping their faces.

There are so many reasons to be embarrassed by our affirmative action President, and accepting the Nobel peace prize in advance of hoping and changing the world to peace is naive and smacks of another sellout.

Feed that Ego!

The company our President now finds himself in is indeed rarified and select. But not every peace prize winner is someone to look up to ... It seems as if the world events are egging Obama onward to the megolomania he is capable of attaining. I wonder if the Obama team is trying to go the whole 4 years of his Presidency without accomplishing anything concrete and constructive for our Nation? Things as simple as cutting taxes on businesses would jumpstart sputtering business, at least that is always how it happened in the past. But instead we will get nooses and anchors like huge new Government bureaucracies, energy taxes, and a lot of smoke and mirrors to arrange US in the order Obama sees fit.

The industrial war complex still has its power, yet the world is buttering up our President and putting him in a box. How can a "peacemaker" keep ramping up his nations war against existential enemies? He cannot if he expects to ever be the President of the "World", which seems to be the very title he seeks with every new speech and all the ways he is diminishing our Nation in front of the "World". I am starting to think of Obama as a little show pony that can be led around, indeed, one who is willing to be led around, with the cheers and adulation as his greatest reward. It scares me to no end that my family's, and our Country's, and maybe the entire free world, are all just pawns in a game of power and prestige to a narcissistic vainglorious puppet.

The Ease of Lying Is Breathtaking to Behold

I watched Obama on Stephanopolous ABC's White House Pitch and Putt just lie with an ease that frankly, made me very uneasy. Either Obama takes US all to be the biggest idiots ever, or he is an even bigger idiot. He says he didn't know Acorn was getting a lot of federal funding, I knew that before this scandal broke out. Acorn was among the most influential players that got Obama elected, he has represented them as a Lawyer, of course he knows whats going on with them. Come on Mr. President, we are not just off the turnip truck here. What an insult to the average Americans intelligence this man is. He must be counting on his supporters being uninformed or gullible, or deaf and blind.

Obama also said during the campaign he would go through the Federal budget and personally remove the waste and redundancy, so now almost 1/4 of the way through his term he is just finding out what Acorn has been getting through his own budget and stimulus? Come on Mr. Obama, the typical star struck servant(Democrat voter) may believe you, but some are immune to your spells and see right through the lies, yes LIES! Joe Wilson was speaking truth to power, you know it and I know it.

Not a big issue huh? An organization that is using taxpayer money to elect Democrats is not a big issue? Of course not. An organization under investigation in multiple states? Well... , Already known to have fraudulently registered voters? Kicked off the census and now defunded by a Democrat led House and Senate? Not a big issue? Goodness, Obama must be going insane from Soros' Kool aid.

There is something terribly wrong with this man as our President, I am starting to wonder if the Democrats might martyr him themselves, blame conservatives and hope for a race war. This is bordering on insanity, where our country is going and how quickly we will get there. Something is definitely putrid and becoming more rotten with every passing day. It seems too implausible to wrap my brain around it right now.

I only watched that video after I read the synopsis of what Obama said, I knew it was tantamount to an infomercial for his Health care/ insurance take over. Seeing him lie with such natural indifference and casual, almost tacit adroitness was alarming and sobering. I have know people who were good liars and could even fool themselves, Obama could be one of the best, ever.

Hmm, I wonder what that means in the real world of multi dimensional, chess master, power playing, tight rope walking, winner take all, free world gambling, international intrigue? Has Obama sold US down the river, yet? Israel?

All this for Iran? Once again foreign policy seems to defy logic in Obamaworld. Russia has now scrapped their plan to deploy short range missiles, who is at war here? Iran is supposedly three to five years away from a deployable missile system. It makes good sense to wait until the last minute to defend against that. And it only takes 33 minutes for an ICBM to get from there to here, I feel really safe with the Obama team in charge.

Human nature and other countries having divergent interests does not seem to register as counter to Our own interests in any equation Obama has figured for US yet. Our allies are on their own out there and I keep getting this awful feeling that we are being set up big time by the highest levels of our own Government. I cannot see the benefit to giving Russia a concession for nothing in return. I cannot see the blind trust in favoring those who have sworn to try to defeat US to the end. I am not that smart of a war historian or an international relations scholar, but I know something of human behaviour. A tyrant is always a tyrant and totalitarians pursue their own interests first, not for the good of the world, so why is Obama doing these things? Either he is brilliant and 10 moves ahead of me or he is a dunce about to be check mated. I can only pray for the former and wonder how we survive the next three years if the latter proves to be true?
